Well let's see what the President did this week to get a handle o our present mess
    He went bowling (129)
    He filled out his bracket
He was on the tonight show
    He'll be on 60 Min.
    That's just great.
Is he trying to plug his new movie?
Hey does someone have a link to a Business Week article blaming the previous administration for the president's schedule?

    Corey,

You and your dad are historians. You know as well or better than anyone else that the initial governing body of this country was filled with those that were both the best person for the job and had no interest in being a politician.

Our governing body now is filled with corrupt politicians that spend millions to be elected so they can take money under the table to provide favors for those that contributed to their election. They are there to vote themselves raises and to never put in an honest day's work.

    Viva la revolution.

    indeed Tom. Very good point.

We've had people who sought the office for some time. Some of our better leaders though have proven to be the ones who were reluctant to lead, initially, during turbulent times.

We've had so many generations of professional politicians, and they are, by and large, useless.
