Good point, Stu, but you have the sequence in reverse. But then again, any kid with an ND offer in hand that lets the likes of Steve Spurrier sell him on the notion that he does not have the right stuff to succeed in South Bend and that he can major in Cupcake 101 in SC well, that is probably a blessing in disguise.

Terry, with your charm and strong character, you would knock 'em dead on the recruiting trail, all 4 and 5 star recruits. Come to think of it, why don't you talk to Coach Kelly about becoming the recruiting coordinator?

I say give 'em the facts and let the chips fall where they may.....of course there are a variety of conflicting facts in ye old rankings game and the recruiters do get the benefit of choosing their favorite brand to increase sales ....my favorite is to simply mention to any healthy young stud that we have over 20,000 healthy young coeds enrolled on campus and resident within walking distance at any given time.....

But, needless to say, at old State U, we are quite proud of the breadth and quality of our academic offerings and welcome any objective comparisons.......

I think he's switched jobs.....he's now judging beauty contests basing his decisions primarily on the color of their shoes.....it's a good gig if you can get it!
