Oberlin College had to pay out 36M dollars to a local bakery that they deemed racist for one of the employees tackling a student who had stolen a bottle of wine frome the store. They then started a campaign to label the store racist and hurt their business. So glad to see them get nailed financially for this action. Oberlin of course is a liberal "woke" college. I have no doubt that if the student hadn't been of color that they wouldn't have cared. In 2016, Allyn Gibson, the son of Gibson’s Bakery and Food Mart owners David Gibson and Allyn Gibson, chased and tackled a Black student who was suspected of stealing a bottle of wine on Nov. 9, 2016. Two students at Oberlin College, who are also Black and were friends with the student who stole the bottle, got involved in the incident, which became physical. The same people who claim to be against bullying are economic bullies. It’s too bad those small businesses in Atlanta who were badly hurt by baseball’s moving of the All-Star game couldn’t have sued those woke economic bullies.
