Well ESPN is reporting he's visited FSU and Fla and is headed to UGA...he also had Alabama and UCLA on his list of schools along with South Carolina. Do the Gators need a QB? And Alabama they already have like 6 QB's it seems.
I'm sure he's a fine qb but Alabama already has one senior transfer who may not start. I don't think we need another short term fix. If Coker doesn't take over this fall, then we will be going with a young guy that will be around for a few years.
snippit from Eric Hansen of the South Bend Trib... Here's the link, SBT like most papers now requires you to login to read a lot of their content. Reality Check on Golson
http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/12880936/alabama-crimson-tide-open-adding-everett-golson I'm sort of with kp on this, Bama already has the Sr. trans from FSU who played a little last year but couldn't win the job and a couple of 5* QB's in Cornwell and Blake Barrnett the former Irish verball who bailed on us last year.
I saw that Jimbo was "negotiating" with Golson. So how many free shoes did he get? Crab lags? Cash? Did they hire him as a player/coach?
Well, he did his time at ND and somehow came out the other end with a degree. His career probably ends next January so who can blame him if he lands in Tallahassee? It will be like a party at Hef's mansion .....that last's six months!
Golson <r>JO'Co,<br/> <br/> <QUOTE><s> </e></QUOTE> I found that choice of words interesting.LOL<br/> <br/> What's to negotiate? Whether not he starts is all I can think of?</r>
Irish lacrosse team takes out Albany which featured the top LAX player in college. On again to the Final Four. We're overdue for the championship.
Tragedy yesterday at ND. Group of graduating seniors got on to the Joyce Center roof. No doubt alcohol was a factor as well as the desire to do one last prank to punctuate their time at ND. Sadly the roof was wet and slippery and one boy slipped and fell to his death. A joyous weekend to see your son graduate with his mechanical engineering degree turns quickly to tragedy.
sad <t>God, that is unthinkable. I feel so sorry for his parents. Just can't imagine how heart broken they are.</t>
Yeah every year some where a child is lost due to doing something that is at best described as risky behavior. It's all fun till somebody get hurt or killed. One a positive note. Womens Softball with backs to wall yesterday beat Northwestern and Ball State to make it to the Championship game vs Kentucky. Mens Lacrosse moves on to the Final Four vs Denver who had to comeback vs Ohio State to make it to the Final Four.
