Looks like the weather has shown up at the Open....fog, rain and wind. Perfect for a finishing round at the Open Championship. Harman is a gritty little dude, I expect him to hang on but this is the kind of weather that crazy can happen. Stay tuned......

Probably the biggest change in the course is that change in the rough. These guys are strong enough to power the ball out of the rough when it's dry but when it's wet it's a different matter.

True that Gip, it's gonna be playing a lot longer. Yesterday McIlroy hit wedge into #1, today.....4 iron. Gonna be a long day

Harman dangled hope in front of the field early than snatched it away. He looks pretty confident. Rahm shot his wad yesterday and everyone else is treading water. All Harman has to do is stay out of the rough, gorse, bunkers and keep in bounds. That's all!

Harman continues to make biries when needed, I do not see anyone matching him this afternoon.

The end to the 2023 Majors. A first round leader was an amateur who is 6 ft. 8 in. The Open winner is a pro that's barely 5 ft. 7 in. It was the rest of the field that came up short.

It's been a year of good wins for the underdog. The Canadian kid wins the Canadian Open, the US Open was Wyndam Clark, now The Open with Brian Harmon. We've got the FedEx Cup starting in a couple of weeks at the St. Jude and Ryder Cup to finish out the season

This is why the golfers who split for LIV will soon be forgotten. All these new names. The LIV guys all got smoked. Now back to the Land of Who Cares?

I see where Koepka is in the top 5 right now. Did they make some formula for LIV tournaments converting into tour finishes?

Koepka's about the most arrogant player out there now. Makes Tiger's persona enjoyable back in the day.

Looking like JT's year is continuing in the wrong direction, he's in danger in not making the cut at the 3M Open. Likely not to make the FEDEX Cup or the Ryder Cup....season could be done after next week.

Cjeka beats Padrig Harrington in a playoff for the British Senior Open. Some really bad weather for this tournament.

JT Poston made a really bad choice on #18 with a terrible lie in the penalty area ball way below his feet and still he tries to hit the ball to the green and doesn't catch it right and doesn't carry the water and ends up with triple bogey and blew the solo 2nd place finish and a bunch of money.

AJ would've refused to hand him that club.

I may have shared this before. I golf in a Men's group in Florida with one of Koepka's best friends growing up in West Palm Beach. He says they were tight all the way through high school and into college. When Koepka started making a name for himself he apparently changed dramatically and distanced himself completely from his past and everyone in it. My buddy tried to stay in touch over the years but Koepka completely blew him off. He was really hurt by it.
