In Gippers it's $1 a hole, $5 per side, $10 for the match

It's Players Championship this week, minus defending champion Cam Smith who is a LIV player.

TPC Sawgrass, the Island Green, the weather should be good this year unlike last year. Of course Sawgrass is in pristine condition. The purse is 25 million dollars as a designated event.

Some talk about "what if" LIV players want to return to the PGA Tour, but for the most part the answers have been 1) they are contractually obligated to LIV 2) Many players remember the pot shots they took at the tour on the way out the door.

So you're sayin' it might get just a little bit frosty in the locker room at Augusta this April? I wonder more about fan reaction especially during the practice rounds. The annual patrons are pretty polite.

I think if we just look at the interaction between Patrick Reed (LIV) and Rory McElroy (PGA) at that Saudi DP World Tour even last month and then the end of last season some DP World Tour Final event that had 10 or 11 LIV players in it and the frosty reception they got from the PGA Tour players and you have your answer.

This comes from out of nowhere. Tiger Woods girlfriend is suing for release from the NDA she claims that she was forced to sign when they started their relationship. I'm guessing that he is no longer with her, duh and maybe she wants to write and talk about her relationship, maybe write a book. I don't know but it certainly throws a kink in the Tiger is a good guy theory these days.

Herman's attorney is citing a federal law, the Speak Out Act, which prevents the enforcement of nondisclosure agreements in instances of sexual assault and harassment. In a civil cover sheet to the court, Herman's attorney, Benjamin Hodas, indicated the case involved allegations of sexual assault.

Herman didn't make any specific allegations against Woods.

Hodas did not immediately respond to a request for comment from ESPN on Wednesday.

Tiger's girlfriend asks judge for release from NDA

Sounds like one of those she said, he paid suits. Apparently they dated for some time. I'm sure that marrying that money was a dream she had. When it ended there was only one way to score. He's never had any problem with women. I read where he used to pick up the waitress at the local Denny's and get the Grand Slam.

How this guy played 18 holes, and had 18 more to deal with is beyond me...

I think she was a waitress at his restaurant, The Woods in Jupiter. He doesn't seem to do well with relationships but he was wise insisting on the NDA. Seems he anticipated future problems.

Rory is going to have to really go low tomorrow just to make the cut this week. Chad Ramey (don't know who he is) is in the clubhouse with a 64 and Morikawa is right behind him with a 65.

After 17 which is an intimidating tee shot for a par 3, then #18 is about as intimidating driving hole as you'll see.

Well 18 doesn't intimidate Justin Thomas! Spieth and Homa hit less than driver not taking on the corner, JT got out more club (they said 3 wood) and ripped a big high draw that ended up way down their in the fairway.

I played that course years ago with some fellow lawyers from Michigan. The only Teetime we could get was late in the afternoon. By the time we got to the 17 tee it was dark. I hit 2 tee shots and heard them come down. Neither was on land.

Of course in my group this would be a gimmie, although when playing one time with my departed BIL I had an eagle putt on a par five that was inside leather and he gave it to me, but I gave it a brush just like Watney and missed and picked it up and he said nice birdie. I retorted but you gave me that putt, his answer was sure I gave it to you but you, you
numbskull decided to putt it and miss

Talk about your bad finishes, Aaron Wise hit a tee ball in the water at 17 and then put 3 drives in the water on 18 where he carded a 10.

Happens to me all the time, well except for the part where I get a break by hitting a spectator on a wild drive!

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- Standing on the ninth tee box, his last hole of the second round at the Players on Friday, Jordan Spieth was 2 over par and probably needed a birdie to make the cut and stick around for the weekend.

Spieth's tee shot sailed far right and was headed for the water along the fairway. Almost immediately, Spieth turned back to his caddie, Michael Greller, and asked, "Is that out of play?"

Instead of getting wet, Spieth's ball bounced off a fan's knee on the fly. Then the ball hit a cart path curb and bounded forward into the fairway. On the second shot, Spieth hit a 3-wood from 277 yards. His ball landed in rough short of the green. Then, in typical Spieth fashion, he chipped in from 26 feet for an eagle on the par-5 hole.

Spieth shot 3-over 75 in the round. His 36-hole total of even par should be good enough to make the cut at the Players, which saw second-round play suspended due to weather Friday afternoon.

Well Jordan went out and had a great round, shot -6 today and sits at -6 for the tournament, 6 shots behind Scottie.
