Every thing is fine Corey. My problem was with SEC Network and all the Dish channels in the 400's which is where Big 10, Longhorn and others reside. I only cared about SEC Channel and it has been showing up as if it were blocked from this summer. So I make arrangements for a tech to come out. He was running late and I went to this channels and they are coming in perfect.
Bill, Fromm has had too much time to pass. Florida has been able to move the ball between the 20's but not get in the end zone. Florida seems to have sold out to stop the run and it has worked but UGA has been able to throw as a result.
Disappointed but the truth is there is a talent difference between the two teams right now. They could pass at will it seems. At the end of the game when we have them3 and a good distance they pass for a first which ended the game. Well Gators could win out and be 11-2 which is still a good bit better than with the previous regime. Congratulations to Georgia. I will be looking forward next week to LSU and Alabama.
Bill, it appeared that Florida went all out to stop the run and they did a pretty good job of that. However Fromm had a lot of time to throw and the Georgia passing game did well.
Bill, I am still concerned about Alabama's defense against LSU no matter who is playing quarterback for Alabama.
Didn't see most of the game, but it looked like the Gators gave them a good game. Georgia does have a ton of talent, Fromm is a really good Qb maybe not Tua or Joe Burrow. They have excellent RB who will be playing on Sunday. Their run first approach though is pretty conservative and probably keeps games closer than they should be
What I saw yesterday tells me neither Florida or Georgia would win in Atlanta. Therefore a 10-2 record and New Year's Six Bowl is what the ceiling is for both and whoever won yesterday that doesn't change the final outcome of their season.
Worst called game for Mullen I have seen in his time as head coach at UF. First series 4th and 1 ( terrible spot by the refs) should have been inches....and he calls pass... Emory Jones can almost always get a yard... but it was a message to Georgia and to the Gator offense that running the ball wasn't going to happen for Florida's offense. Not going on about the refs but that no overturn review of the 3rd and long catch made by Ga. at the UF 9 on Georgia's first TD drive was a killer.... and a factor in the game. However that didn't factor in the real dagger.... the wide open Cage on the 52 yard TD in the 4th quarter.
So this is a bit odd isn't it? Can you imagine if the husband of the women's soccer team or basketball team coach did this?
MCG, Georgia will play an extra game because of the SEC Championship. If they win out but lose that game they would be 11-2 not 10-2. But I agree with your basic analysis.
And I thought a number of Gator plays on offense were strange and I don't quite understand why the Dawgs could make so many 3rd and long plays. Seems the Gator DC should rethink some of his philosophy. The Gator boards are full of criticism for his calling of the game. Of course Gator boards are full of criticism every time we lose.
It got deleted. Post showed a picture of Mullen's wife embracing a Gator player as he got off the team bus. It claimed she kissed them all on the lips. It was from a poster from Georgia.
