Thanks Corey, I didn't think I saw that remark here. As to wearing down the Aggies, that's not the way I look at things. The first half ended with the Aggies still being able to move the ball, time just ran out. In the second half the Gators played defense different and bottled them up. I believe we blitzed 8 or 9 times in the first half and got burned for a lot of yards. The second half our defense didn't penetrate as much but kept the QB contained. That's probably to simple of an explanation, but we did change what we were doing and it worked. Our offense scored 10 points each half, on three possessions in the first half and seven in the second.
I do thnk the Aggies have talent and will only get better the more recruits they take from Texas and OU in that region....which is happeneing already.
Well, there were a few times when Gator players got "injured" at just the right time to help their defense get reset at a more comfy pace than our offense was allowing. One of the guys on another site has video of the coaches waving to a player to get up because another Gator was already down, and he magically popped up. Guess what? That player got "hurt" on the next play. :x
