Oh, a little less than a year. I felt confident last year until Hunter went down in the swamp. Now we have a triad of receivers all capable of break away speed and a QB without the last name of Clausen. 8)
You hope you catch the Gator defense that played in the first half last week and not the one from the second half or the one from the last two games in 2011. NC State is one thing but how many of those guys will be playing on Sunday?
NC State has an All American "1st round draft pick possibilities" DB that was burned for three TDs by the Tennessee wide receivers. By the end of the game, the announcers had, in their opinion, dropped him to 2nd or 3rd round. You hope that your defense can contain the Tennessee offense. It hasn't had any down quarters in the two games it has played.
Don't know what else to say. I'm watching Game Day right now and wondering what games I will watch before the Tenn - Florida game. Good luck to everyone, except the Vol fans of course.
We were involved in a fund raising event for Brest Cancer victims all morning. Sweet rides and the two Harley dealers in Austin teamed up to have a police escort from Central Texas Harley Davidson down I-35 to South Congres street and Opal Devines for a benefit lunch. We decided on Cindy's Challenger rather than the bikes.
Those are two great cars you guys own Tom. You certainly have a lot of toys. As to the game, Gators strike first after an interception and lead 7 - 0.
A long pass completion then a interference against the Gators set up a Vol short pas for a TD. 7 - 7 Bray and the two receivers are all they are advertised.
Hey Tom, what is the window tint specs in your area, your tint looks pretty dark in the picture...Depending on the county here in Florida it varies, but if they are bored they may check it with their meter... Very nice toys in that picture...
Not certain of the spec, but it is legal. The black interior makes it look too dark to be legal. I would rather Florida had not scored the field goal at the end of the half but I'll take any lead over a quality opponent. 14 Tennessee 10 Florida
Trailing 14 - 7 the Gators drive to the 1 yard line with 2nd and goal and can't push it it. We kick a field goal on the last play of the half and trail 14 - 10 at halftime. Multiple penalties on both team with the Gators getting pass interference calls that result in good gains and first downs. The Vols have offensive motion or formation penalties for 5 yards at a time. I can't say how many times the Vols made a 3rd and long or 4th and long on their last drive. The flow of the game has favored the Vols but the Gators only trail by four at halftime. Tyler Bray is outstanding. As far as the penalties go I am not complaining each and every one was well deserved by both teams. Hopefully the Gators can do what they did in the 2nd half last week.
Opening drive of the second half, Gators drive right down the field and stall again about the 10 and get another FG. 14 - 13 Vols. Field Goals don't beat touchdowns and Bray scares me. But the Gators were in a similar position last week.
Both teams in the red zone three times and score all three. Gators 2 FG and a TD, Tenn scores 3 TDs but miss the last extra point. 20 - 13 Tenn
Oh my, Gators have the ball on our 20 go in the wildcat and Trey Burton goes 80 yards for a TD. 20 - 20 late 3rd quarter.
Oh my, Gators get an interception and break a big run and a TD pass and we lead 27 - 20. Now let's play defense.
Up to the Tennessee defense to make something happen. The offense has suddenly become snake bit. Sure handed receivers dropping easy catches.
