C'mon...I live in southern Richland County...

'sides...it was directed to one SEC fan in particular who has been rather relentless in dissing any football not played way down south in Dixie...but yer right...I shouldn't paint with such a broad brush.

 

SEC speed looked non-existant in the 2 B10/SEC matchups, that does not bode well for Fla vs Ohio State.

Mo, Give the Huskerman his due, Nebraska was superior just about in every way to Auburn. With decent play calling they would have kicked their arses , it wouldn't have been close.

 

Experience.......who has it?

OSU because their seniors sat on the bench while freshmen at the 2002 NC game or would you say Florida has it because the whole team just 35 days ago had to prepare for and win a hotly contested and highly coveted Championship game in the SEC.

I would go with the latter.

Both squads have plenty of experience in big games...who cares which is "better experience?"...not me.

Fla's uniforms will be prettier too, since we have to go in white...don't forget that.

Oh, but we are 1-0 in the whites in BCS Championship games...better go with that.

There is no point in arguing about all these intangibles unless we're negotiating a point spread or something...just play the game.

The Gators have been in AZ since Tues. the 2nd.

They have acclimated and should be as ready as OSU physically.

So...what's the big deal about travelling "out west"?

You know...sometimes people make comments that have no real bearing on things as they presently exist. They want to live on past glory and/or failures.

That Gator team was unbeaten....and favored and the press fawned all over them compared to Tom Osborne's poor ole Nebraska team who it was thought just couldn't keep up with the likes of the genious Steve Spurrier's high flyin Gators.

Sorta like the reverse of what we have this year in the NC game.....and I like it much better that way.
