Seems out of sync to us Gators too Kp. I think next year will be Muschamps year to either cut the mustard or the Gators will move on again. :(

This is the kind of crap I'm talking about here:

"Pease said he has second thoughts about the first-down wildcat call that lost two yards when the Gators had a first-and-10 on the Georgia 41 trailing only 23-20 in the fourth quarter. Wide receiver Trey Burton lined up at quarterback and ran a speed option play to the right, pitching the ball to wide receiver Solomon Patton who was nailed for the loss.

Two plays later, the Gators had to punt after quarterback Tyler Murphy was sacked. The offense did not see the ball again in the game."

Trey Burton never.... never throws when he lines up as Qb and most of the time it goes for negative yardage.

Why in the F does Pease run this stupid ass play then with the Gators first and 10 on Georgia 41 after stopping the Dawgs on a fourth and dumb play and trailing by only a FG?

Why run this play ever... ever.... again?

    Jeezus.....

Gators lose an OL to a "scooter" incident. What do you want to bet that he was having fun and a few beers with his buddies when he decided to show them some tricks with scooter. Famous last words, he watch me do this... :)

The wheels haven't quite come off yet..... but they are wobbling fiercely with only the nut of a Vandy win and bowl eligibility keeping them on.

Lose to Vandy and this bus is in the ditch.

Oh.... I almost forgot.... the Gators are the best damn team and program you have ever seen and should be playing for the BCS Title.....thump thump thump!!  8)

How ridiculous that constant assertion of my attitude about the Gators is around here....

If they stink I'll be the first to tell you but if I believe they're good I never just meekly turn the other cheek and let myself or my team get kicked around or mislabeled.

    But right now.... they stink.

Good read by SI's Mandel on Muschamp's current situation at UF:

note: scroll down a little to see his answer to the question.

Here's the thing about your offense that I don't get. Your QBs are terrible. This is year 3 and there's been no consistency with coordinator there, but still. Look at it this way, injuries and all that being the same, even with his shaky performance last night, if Marriota played for Florida do you still think your record is what it is today?

What I noticed about both Qbs last night is that they had a confident..... I got this... style of play.

Driskel could be that guy..... was at times like that last year.... but he receives way too much pressure and his WRs leave much to be desired.

Couple that with an offensive system that just isn't working well and as a result he lost to Miami with some very ineffective play at Qb.

Since his injury throw inexperience into the mix with Murphy and we also lack ability at the QB position as well.

Could have started another "I told you so" subject but I see there is already one of those.

I go back to the start of the season when I said after watching Ole Miss-Vandy that those two teams were better than they have been.

Since then.... Ole Miss beat LSU and now Vandy has beaten Georgia and Florida in the same season and since when has that ever happened in their existence?

Just because you're shitty doesn't mean that they are good.

Your QBs don't play with confidence, they are terrible. I really don't think it's your system, it's the talent in the system. It doesn't fit and most of all, your QBs are terrible.

Well we have a young man named Grier coming in next year and he's an early entry. Gators have high hope for him.

Then we hd high hopes for Brantley and Driskel wo who knows?

I don't think Grier starts next year though.

As we were laying down for Vanderbilt last Saturday in the epic battle for the "He went to Jared" Bowl someone asked me how I felt about the Gator's execution..... I said "I'm all for it".... :D

Thank you J. McKay for that one... :D

John McKay was really famous for his quips...I hated that guy when he was at USC, not that he was an Ahole...he was just so damn good at being the coach and he recruited so much talent to USC. If he hadn't left for the Pro's no telling how many NC's he would have won.
