Good luck today Corey......hope it's a minor procedure for you> Mine gets a little complicated because I had a quad bypass 12 years ago and so going under anesthesia is not exactly what I want to do. In 1981 I had a scope and meniscus removed and that was no big deal as Gonzo says. This is a possible quadriceps tear or rupture and the recovery is more complicated. I went into ER locally here on Fri. am after doing it and a Physicians Assistant after being the only one to examine me with no ultrasound announced that I would be admitted and surgery w/in 48 hrs. My wife and I said ..whoa...no way...we're getting this checked out. The problem is the PA said and the internet said that you needed surgery w/in 48 hrs for this injury to be successfully repaired. This left us in a quite a quandary so yesterday we decided to go to the top 20 ranked hospital in America...the Univ. of Michigan. Saw a lot of great people and hopefully this will all turn out for the best.
Thanks Bill and to all of you expressing the same. I'll keep you posted on the developments. Corey...what are you having done today?
Good luck, MCG. Having survived a quad bypass, you are no stranger to health crisis management. I wish you the very best outcome, and if it's surgery, a speedy and successful recovery. Keep us posted.
MCG, I'm being nice to you because you are injured  . Really, I wish you the best. And I enjoyed the UF/Auburn game immensely. I never thought it would turn out the way it did but both teams put on quite a show. And believe me, we domers haven't seen a good show in almost a year. Feel better.
Seeing the ortho today....the head of ortho trauma at U of Mich. I hope Bobda's alma mater does him proud.... Thanks George....was a great finish..for the winners. Sid...my own quad was 12 years ago. That complicates things a little.
