I just can't see the LHorns winning that game. I also took a look at Ohio State's new defense last night and its a great one. Many of those "new" players aren't new at all. Many of them have started multiple games before and several were 5-star guys that we tried to recruit to Notre Dame. I think they'll be fine on defense. My only concern for them is at cornerback, but they have three good candidates for the one open slot...

I see them tearing Mack Brown into itsy, bitsy little pieces...

I have always admired your analytical and thoughtful insight. Your comments concerning Ohio State being selected #1 in the initial poll, is certainly no exception!

Unfortunately, my analysis of Texas and its coach is not always that popular with Doc OK...

"For Tennessee...they're a great program that is rollerskating near the rim of the abyss. When was the last time that they won a big game? How far down does this current slide go before they fire their coach? Recruiting is faltering, the natives are restless... how can Fulmer work his way out of this mess and turn the ship around to head in the other direction? Beating Cal, with all of its early season pretentions, would go a long way to getting the Big Orange back on track...IMHO"

I agree Jo'Co that this game is a high risk/reward situation for Tenn.

Lose and the Florida game looks even tougher and some of the life goes out of the crowd at the first sign of trouble vs. the Gators.
Win over Cal and the Vol fans will be charged up beyond belief vs. UF.
