He's close to the top of the default QB board, so if you guys don't make changes to move him down, he'll go early. Here's the scoop: We've got 16 teams, and I think is set it up for 14 rounds. Before the first round starts, the system will randomly make a draft order. Whoever is number one will get the top guy on his board. Whoever is second will then select. If the guy they have #1 is gone, they will get their number two, and so on. Once the first round is over, the order is reseeded. I can't remember if you drop down to #16 after you are 1st, but it was some kind of set pattern. That will keep happening until all 16 teams have made 14 picks. After that you can trade, and or pick up players that weren't drafted.
Do I pick each pick myself and the thing takes forever or do I set up 16x14 players in a list ahead of time and automatically get my top pick? (that's 224 players). What if my top pick left is a QB but I've already gotten 2 QB's taken? What if I put 6 QB's on the list but they're all taken by the time it gets to me? What if I change my mind about my next pick? Where is this "board" and how do I set it up. Dumb people want to know.
In case I didn't make it clear, we are using an automated draft. I did a little digging on the draft, but my home PC is still on the fritz so I haven't been able to answer. The draft order will be set by the computer, and then will reverse with each round. #1 will be #16 in round two, and first again in 3... Stu... go to the "Rank Players" link that you see on the main page. You will be given the option to rank by position, or on one list. I did mine on one list so I could see it all at once. Put the players in order of importance to you, and the system will take them if they are available on your turn. If you put 10 QB's first, it will ignore them after the first 2 or 3 (can't remember the exact number) and move on to your next player that isn't a QB and is available. I think we end up with 3 QB's, 6 WR's, 4 RB's, 2 TE's, 1 or 2 K's, and 2 DST. Hope that is clear as mud.
