Nothing except smaller size and over double battery life. Easier to take to outside events. It actually has some limitations that a laptop does not have.
It weighs about a lb. and is all touch screen so no mouse is needed at about the size of a sheet of paper. If your mainly into just surfing the web and checking your mail it's great. If you want to do more a laptop is probably better....
