    This year pointed out how little the early matchups mean. You gotta keep most of your final four and then pick out the eventual winner. The early rounds count little unless they are bracket busters knocking out everybody's picks for deep runs.

    I would not have expected UConn to out-rebound Purdue, and while Edey got his points, the Boilers' three point game was uncharacteristically absent last night. Credit to the Huskies' perimeter defense, but 1 for 7 was well below Purdue's season averages for makes and attempts.

    The championship game definitely had the two best teams and two of the best college coaching staffs. Congratulations to both programs on tremendous seasons, congratulations Tim, Mike, Bobda and Terry, and thank you Don for running this.
