Edey cut down the net (no ladder) and went over and gave a big piece to Gene Keady.

Zach Edey wins Player of the year for the second time, first to do it since Ralph Sampson. One thing I learned recently is that Zach can't make any NIL money since he's Canadian attending Purdue on a Visa. Apparently no foreign player can make money on US Soil while on visa. He can when he's in Canada or anywhere outside the USA.

So far the Tide are giving UCONN all they can handle and then some. Great game so far.

UCONN with the small lead, been a really great game to watch. Lots of great plays by both teams. Grant Nelson from Devils Lake North Dakota...he's a long way from home and he's a really good player.

The Huskies just have too much talent, their big man Clingan is really good and they play good defense and they are really good on offense. Tide gave them a good game but eventually UCONN just overwhelmed the Tide.

It should be a very interesting match up between Edey and Clingan. Does any Big 10 team have a center who had the size and talent to give Edey problems? Purdue guards are going to have to bring their A game.

Excellent game. Alabama’s guards and Nelson had standout games. Great season for the Tide.

Hurley has turned UConn into a Death Star program.

When Dickinson was at M, he could compete on even terms with Edey although Edey has taken a significant jump in improving his game from last year to this year.

Matt Painter tried to get Dickinson to Purdue. Edey was not even ranked in the top 400 HS Seniors available.

UConn has a more diverse offense it seems and Zach Edey has missed some shots that he usually makes although he's really carried the Boilermakers on the offensive end so far.

    Good game.

UCONN has taken complete control. They just have so many ways to score and they have taken Edey out of the game on defense.

I really wanted Purdue/Edey to win but baring a miracle it's not happening.

No fluke, no bad refs, no lucky shots to win...just a complete domination and clearly the best team won.

Rick hit the daily double this season winning both the football and NCAA tournament contests. Congrats!

Also congrats to Stu. Purdue had a historic season and have a class coach and team.

Yeah just too much firepower. Hurley seems great at game planning and his players must like him as well. But the refs should take him to the woodshed during games, for obvious reasons.

    Top 5
    Rick
    Tim
    gipper
    Bobda
    TOK

Rick's 1410 points would have had him 2nd in the Celebrity Brackets behind only Carlos Boozer and ahead of Jay Bilas, Reece Davis and Mark Packer to name a few.

    Congrats again.
