Speaking of blowing by.... does anyone think that Bama won't blow by Florida in the final rankings and also does anyone... anyone?.... think that OU would beat Alabama?

Hey, Alabama ran the ball up the middle the last.drive. If Michigan wanted the game to be over they could have run the ball but they tried to score til the end. Should Alabama just let them score too?

Believe me I had no problem with that last Alabama drive. Nor did I have a problem with Harbaugh having his Qb spike the ball so he could try a meaningless Hail Mary.

This Rose Bowl is a really good game between 2 seemingly evenly matched teams

I don't recall Harbaugh taking his foot of the gas against the Irish. I was hoping Saban would go for 2.

Herbert not having a great game passing but he's got 3 good TD'S running the ball.

Terry, not Full Moon. I actually think Bob Gibson's in Decatur is the best.

Great Rose Bowl, one of those where you hate to see one team lose.

Well Burrow really excelled in the post season. The runners up had decent games but not to the level of Burrow.

Well Baylor / UGA up next. It's a no brainer to go with Georgia, Baylor played a weak non-conference schedule, lost to OU twice. But they are excited to be there, I wonder if Georgia is excited to be here?

I think Georgia has quite a few no shows for the NFL.

I think UGA is missing 2 from going pro, 1 to injuries and a bunch for undisclosed reasons

No, but they could have just taken a knee and let the clock run out. Running plays is running the risk of injury. I know people don't see it that way, and I get it. The game was over though, Michigan couldn't stop the clock. Minnesota's PJ Fleck was faced with the same situation and took 3 knees to kill the clock. He could have punched in some sexy points for the pollsters and the scribes, but he took the W and hung the L on Auburn without risking the health of his players.

All that being said, I'm with Gipper. Saban could have gone for 2 and it wouldn't have bothered me at all. I was just presenting another way of doing things. I didn't mean to suggest that Emperor was naked, even for a second.
