...anybody know the real reason for that? I don't....

    Tom,

Gov't regulations or prudent pre-work for surgery on a guy who has heart issues before?

I know personally given my health background that I would not want to rush into any sort of surgery without knowing where I stood medically.

Well, give Obamacare about 4 years. Gauge how many doctors are in the system now and how many are left in 4 years. Gauge how long it takes to get set up for procedures now and how long it will take then. Rushing in may be defined as going to surgery about 9 months after diagnosis... if then.

Our gator friend appears a bit confused.....does he want de-regulation as he was touting the benefits in the airline industry - a course his lib/dem brethren adamantly opposed - or heavy doses of govt control and regulation, a path he found distasteful with the airlines but one he seems to be favoring for health care insurers....in any event, what we do know is that obamacare is not a path towards addressing the issue of costs at all......but rather creates an additional burden

De-regulation of the airlines created true competition and consequently the desired self-induced price controls.

The healthcare industry seems not to be corralled by true competition amongst themselves so there seems to be no such control of their pricing levels.

There is an unending built in market demand for healthcare whereas airline travel can be at the consumer's discretion.

The pigs get slaughtered in the airline industry whereas they have places to hide when it comes to healthcare.

    Just ask Rick Scott.

If their is unlawful collusion, why would ur justice dept not prosecute?
TOK, do you and your illegal Houston area dentist cabal engage in anticompetitive practices as is alleged by our gator friend?

Now, can we get back to the topic? Dow drop ? How did the fiscal cliff become a cliff anyway? Where is the leadership here and what is his plan to grow the economy?
