Nope interest in Astros is at an all-time low....not in Marlins territory but pretty bad. Drayton McLain just killed the club in the last few years, first with his ego getting in the way of aknowledging that we had an excellent GM who was keeping the club at a high level with a good farm system and some good moves as well. So since everybody was giving the GM all the kudos he fired him and put in somebody who would defer to him and that was the end of the Astros, bad moves, rapid decline of the farm system and from a team that packed the house most nights to a team hardly anybody knows who the players are.

Hopefully the new ownership will have a vision and hire good baseball people and not worry about personal glory and just want to win. Now granted there are owners who medal in the team and insist on the glory, your boy George was one of them but he overall had a pretty good record. Mark Cuban is another one but he has always put a good product out there for the fans and now as a championship.

It's not easy being a good owner, some are to distant, some are too involved, some only care about the bottom line. Oh that the Rooney family had bought the Astros years ago!! :)

When teams located in areas like New York (Mets), Los Angeles (Dodgers) and Houston (Astros) are having financial troubles, then you know there has been some incompetent owners somewhere...
