Like the Sox, Diamondbacks, Marlins and Angels. Speaking of the Sox and D'backs, what does Schilling have in common with A-Rod?

    They're both Yankee-killers [IMG]

I hardly recognize this Yankee team. Tonight we are missing Matsui, Sheffield, Posada, A-Rod, Rivera & Chacon. Plus Jeter is playing with sprained wrist and Damon with a broken foot. The youngsters up from the minors have been playing great for a few weeks now. These are the youngster that the "experts" said the Yankees did not have due to all the trades they've made.

Injuries are part of the game. The Red Sox better make hay now while the Bombers are short-handed because later will be too late.

Incredibly, Jason Giambi has been scratched from today's lineup. Anyone ever hear of Kevin Thompson?

The Yankees are getting stellar play out of their minor leaguers, in fact, they are absolutely saving us at this point. Amazing, considering the Yankees are not even supposed to have a minor league pipeline.

BTW, Thompson had a hit, walk and scored a run last night in his ML debut.
