    I will contend to my dying breath that the greatest Rock n Roll Rhythm and Blues act ever was the Brian Jones era Rolling Stones. After his removal and subsequent death, they became an Arena Rock Band. That's the artsy fartsy side of me speaking, but I'll fight someone over this contention.

    This dude, from my childhood... I sadly had to grow up to realize that not everyone is Joe Walsh and can squeeze so much life out of just one note.

    Both versions are excellent, but I give the nod to Wolf's version. The Stones' rendition shows the talent of Jagger, i.e., his ability to capture the spirit of blues. The Wolf version seems a bit more genuine in terms of his soulful style and the beat of the background music. I like both.

    I like both versions too. The Stones were introducing European audiences to American artists like Howlin' Wolf that they had never heard before...
