 I used to work on a chicken ranch when I was a teenager. My job was to stand alone in a massive warehouse with a million chickens and pick them up, one at a time, and place them through a small, square hole in the wall, which was the chicken entrance to the other warehouse. If I discovered any chickens with large, red, coombs on their heads, my job was to strangle them and toss them into a dumpster. In this way, all the roosters were identified and destroyed. I wish I had one of these machines in those days. Somehow......placing a high school football player in charge of the welfare of millions of chickens does seem a tad inhumane...now that I've had 46 years to think about it... <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/3ZVfsgCVpKc?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Next, she will be petitioning the government to make a law that fines deer for crossing where there is no sign. How did we get so stupid?
I see two ways to read that phone call. One...as Tom says, she is stupid beyond stupid. Two....she is is doing a masterful job of putting on the radio guys. It's hard for me to believe that someone can be that stupid, but stranger things have happened.

:!: Good clip Mike. re: Bill Walton. He was a Commie who was hanging out with the Manson Family and the Patty Hearst kidnappers. He was dog sh!t then and he's dog sh!t now. re: Hank Iba Was the worst coach ever to run the American team. He was an old fuddy-duddy from the Stone Age of basketball in the 1930's. He still believed in having the players run football style military plays instead of the "pattern" offenses that had replaced that nonsense in the 1960's when I played. He was incompetent and everyone knew it. re: Alexander Belov, who scored the "winning" basket was, by all accounts, a nice guy who admired Americans and longed to play in the United States. He died of a rare disease six years later at the age of 26. BTW- on the final play, he took FOUR steps before he shot the ball... re: me I'm still pissed off about this game all those years later. I can't imagine what the players felt. Wow.
