To be honest, I'll pay $5 to BOA for the convenience of the card, I don't use it for anything other than getting cash and depositing checks at their ATM's. And I don't want to change banks.
Terry, I don't think there are going to be charges for what you use it for. But if so it's not worth anything to me to get cash. I'll just take a couple of extra minutes at the same place I could drive though to use the ATM and write a check and drive though and cash it. I do use m credit cards heavily as I get rebates on them.
Bill I don't like carrying a checkbook, never have back before ATM's I used to just put a check in my wallet and get some cash 1x a week at the bank or grocery store. I like the Bank Card since I can get it when ever I want. I used credit cards for a lot of things for the same reason the rest of you do, the points/rewards. BTW: As Sid predicted the big banks fees present an opportunity to other banks.... Lot's of examples like that in this article. Small Banks Respond
Me too....a small monthly price to pay for the convenience of telling credit cards to kiss my a**.....
Bank of America Corp. (BAC), the lender seeking to trim expenses by eliminating at least 30,000 jobs, will pay former wealth-management division head Sallie L. Krawcheck $6 million after her dismissal last month. That sum includes one year of her former salary, or $850,000, and a one-time payment of $5.15 million to be awarded in 2012, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based bank said yesterday in a filing. Joseph Price, whose position was also eliminated, gets a $5 million package, the bank said. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-...6-million-severance-package-after-ouster.html
