Maybe taking proper safety measures to avoid the virus is better than the "cure".... ya think?
Here is an accurate summation of the national Trump led response to Covid-19 and it reflects my own assessment so well I'm done here...... anything I say on this board or facts I report are vehemently denied without truth based merit driven by conservative idealism and/or media or debated complete with personal insults that are tiresome so I'll just sit and watch. Here's a few interesting stats The average age of death in the US is 78.5 The median age of death for those infected with Covid is 80. While 150,000 Americans have died with what has been attributed to Covid, that is the average number of American who die from pulmonary disease every year. Reports are that 440,000 Americans die every year from preventable mistakes in hospitals.
Earlier this week there was an article about him still being in the hospital and receiving oxygen, but it was more in a sense that he was recovering, not on the end of the line. RIP.
So post the total deaths in those two states then maybe we would have an honest picture of what is going on. Like I say maybe you should move to that state you seem to love so much.
So Dave we can assume that if you get Covid you won't use hydroxychloriquine. I don't know about the others but that's ok with me. Personally if it happens to me I would seriously consider it. But then unlike you I have an open mind.
Damn Bill...... look at the New York curve of new cases vs. the Florida curve for new cases. New York is way down toward the flat line at the bottom of the hill and Florida is climbing the mountain. Yesterday Florida set it's new record in deaths also with 253 while New York had 13 on Wed. the 29th. ( didn't see NY for the 30th yet ) Can't you get it that New York had their biggest problem 3.5 months ago and took steps to correct it while Florida went in the other direction and is having a huge crisis right now because of the mismanagement at the top and a general lack of cooperation from the public. What New Yorkers did or didn't do at the end of March matters squat to what is going on in Florida now and the rest of the Sunbelt today and tomorrow and in the past two weeks. Deaths are up to record levels here because cases have skyrocketed in the past few weeks in Florida.
To know the whole story MCG you have to look at the whole picture, not just ignore over 32,000 deaths because they occurred earlier. And largely because of the incompetence of the Governor. Like I said you adore NY so much you should move there. You would be a good fit with the looneys running that state.
On Hydroxychloriquine even though I have underlying heart issues if I was sick enough to be in the hospital dying from Covid I would have to give it a go if the doctors felt it wouldn't kill me by itself because at that point I would accept anything they could give me to save my life. It's not a political decision.... it's a medical decision and I would listen to the doctors. However I would not change my lifestyle and get more careless while healthy as Trump and the crazy witch doctor suggests that I can do because the drug is a cure for Covid!!
Bill the whole story is what is happening now and how the pandemic is being dealt with here in Florida and elsewhere. I don't "adore" New York over Florida.... I just appreciate the leadership and efforts they made to control the virus whereas here our Trump mini-me ****** things up with his cavalier approach to arbitrary reopening dates and his ass kissing of Trump's policies.

My logic is this.... one state encountered a global pandemic and early on was crushed by it but took the proper steps to correct and control it as much as they could and achieved results. The other state did not have the initial problem but took the virus lightly and it's leadership both nationally and in state was defective and a disbelieving nonconforming populace did things to cause the virus to explode out of control.
Proper steps to control NY included sending covid patients into nursing homes and as a result killing thousands of elderly patients. I understand why your logic thinks that is a good step because you have advanced TDS.
