Yes... they began testing anyone who wanted for free a week ago in Dallas/Fort Worth. Surprise surprise...we've gotten more positives.
    I'm stunned.

    Using Mike’s percentages.

Assuming Texas did 100 tests in a week and 10 tested positive, the percentage of positive tests to total tests would be 10%.

If in the next week, there was a 38% increase in tests the total tested would equal 138. If positive results increased 36%, the total positive results would equal 13.6.

If so, the percentage of positive tests results to total tests would have fallen from 10% to 9.85%.

I think all the "disasters" end on Nov. 4th.

I've been seeing in different places that when he loses the election Trump will be sure to claim the election was rigged.... Biden cheated.... the vote count is wrong etc. etc. and will pull all out stops to decertify the election results and keep his presidency going.
The way Trump conducts his business attacking every institution and process we have had in America for all these years and with the backing of Fox News it's not too hard to see this coming to fruition.
It's pretty evident he won't have the military on his side thankfully.

The ones that do that are Dems. Remember the fiasco in Fla. and who filed suit to overturn the election? Biden should pick Stacy Abrams, she's great at blaming "voter suppression" for he losses. The "different Places" you've been seeing were most likely the same ones that pulled the Russian collusion ****. But as long as there are folks that will swallow it, they'll keep shoveling it.

Let's make a bet about Trump not calling it cheating or that it was a rigged election when he loses..... LOL

Perhaps, Dave...wouldn't surprise me...but that was said about Trump before the 2016 election results...and it is the Dems and his opponents and you that have never accepted his legitimacy.

Oh, Hell...Biden's already threatened to take Trump out behind the woodshed and kick his arse...why doesn't he just go into the White House, beat him up, and throw him out?

Don’t Ask Don’t Tell 2.0 and hypocrisy of the highest order. Encourage mass protests and then instruct contact tracers not to ask those recently diagnosed with the virus if they contracted the virus at a protest gathering.

There's 10 million people that live in or near NYC..... certainly it's an extremely small percentage of the population that has been in a close quarters protest. I cansee the point of not asking that specific question redundantly with a minute chance of a yes.

"No person will be asked proactively if they attended a protest,” Avery Cohen, a spokesperson for de Blasio, wrote in an emailed response to questions by THE CITY.

Instead, test-and-trace workers ask COVID-positive individuals general questions to help them “recall ‘contacts’ and individuals they may have exposed,” Cohen said. Among the initial questions: “Do you live with anyone in your home?”

Tracers then ask about “close contacts” — defined as being within six feet of another person for at least 10 minutes.

It’s up to tested individuals to volunteer whether any of those close contacts occurred during protests. “If a person wants to proactively offer that information, there is an opportunity for them to do so,” Cohen wrote.

Double standards apparently don't apply to the left.

Does anyone on here feel that Joe Biden is capable of being President? Put your blind hatred of Trump aside before answering.

Right Dave. I am sure if contact tracers in Jacksonville or Tulsa are specifically requested not to ask those ill who attended a Trump rally or national convention if they attended the event, your response to that will be similarly sanguine.

And if small size compared to a city’s population is an exculpatory reason for not applying Covid regulations in a uniform fashion, why were the small Jewish funerals and gatherings broken up by the police while the thousands upon thousands of demonstrators were given the imprimatur by DeBlasio to gather?

Also, your claim that the question is redundant and that the questioner would likely not provide an honest answer is incredibly obtuse. How can a question asking if a person was in a large public gathering be “redundant” if the questioner is bared from asking that question? The entire purpose of contact tracing is to interrogate those who are ill to find out the potential source of the illness. If you deliberately avoid asking a specific question about attending public gatherings that thousands upon thousands people have attended, the avoidance is done to insulate those events as being listed as a potential cause.

Bobda you keep implying that I or people like me who oppose Trump for some reason think it's ok to protest shoulder to shoulder in the streets. I think it is stupid AF and they get what they deserve if they are so stupid as to throw all caution to the wind..... like Trump wants his rallygoers and convention goers to do.
