8) re: designed by Albert Speer ROTFL!!! Like all great cutting remarks, that observation has some truth in it. re: difficulty of Goetze's winning goal. I'll go with Corey's assessment. I was a basketball player who wanted to play soccer, but I couldn't switch, because basketball was my best sport. Corey really was a soccer player and he was pretty good too. For the record, I would call it an "8" but Corey would know better than I. BTW- that pass (and assist) from Schurrle was at least as great as the goal. He was being defended tightly, but he still managed to get off a perfect pass.
8) BTW- we haven't talked much about sportsmanship since the biting incident. Here's some clips from Argentine television last night. As you can see, the locals aren't taking their last minute defeat very well... <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/1vCBn2JN1j0?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0"></iframe>
8) Please note: Argentina did not riot after they lost the Falkland Islands War to Great Britain, nor did they riot after any of the 14 times that they've gone bankrupt... <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/-9b-NHj6jAo?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0"></iframe>
re: Brazil coach Yes, it's vacation time for him. If he's smart, he'll coach AYSO for awhile... Here is ESPN's great explanation of the final goal. Both teams were exhausted, but Germany's two substitutes, Schurrle and Goetze, had enough left in the tank for one, final attack... http://www.businessinsider.com/germany-world-cup-winning-goal-2014-7
