There ya go ... Sid and Buck (*) T with the name calling, yet again. Not at all  ed

LOL, I think Carson Palmer is on to something, wrt some midwestern college football fans.

Anyway, back to the "luck thing" .... is an easy schedule mere luck .... or more science in its nature?!

I would say it's more of an "execution" thing.....not unlike what Big 10 patsie M laid on you guys in your back yard in that epic Cap One bowl.

Gaterz, glad you're back and sharing with us some of your original and quality thought.

    :D

Hey, atleast UF scored more than twice against that B-10/11 patsie .... and only lost by 4 to LSU in RedStick.

And it's good to see from your posts that I've missed nothing over the number of months.

Good thing Michigan is around to defend Ohio State's honor.....geez...

I don't think many people in the college football world would consider Michigan to be a Big Ten "patsie" but I know you say that sarcastically of course.

Michigan proved what a highly motivated, experienced and healthy team could do from one of the top programs in college football.

Too bad they didn't get that opportunity vs. Ohio State last year.

.... and much like we saw for/to/by/in tOUS in the BCS game of Jan 2007, Meyer and staff were "out prepared" and "out coached" by the Michigan staff.

Gaterz we do add Arkansas and drop Auburn but the addition of Hawaii and Miami might make up for it.

There is still LSU, Tenn and Georgia to contend with so the schedule may stay pretty highly rated.

It's amazing how strong and competitive the Big 10 becomes when they are playing an SEC school yet how weak and unworthy they are when they play Ohio State!

You can't make this stuff up folks....

Sometimes when I read these comments BT I think you either were sleeping during the game or have a case of early onset Alzheimers.

Did you think Henne was even 50% in that OSU game?

    Come on man.....

Based upon the amount of time he was either running for his life or viewing the action from the seat of his pants, I would say his performance was more a function of his opponent than any other factor....after all, wasn't M's loss to Appy State one of the non-con losses you were referencing earlier?

Come on man....in spite of your best efforts, you just can't have it both ways.

    Well heck .... you do!!!

Thank goodness for Akron and Youngstown State!! Without them, tOSU has the same record as Michigan in 2007!!

App State was a little embarassing for Michigan but that 'neer offense rolled up and down the field for 35 points and 500 yards on that same defense that made Ohio State's offense look downright putrid a couple of months later...

Heck, even the lowly Gators were able to score 35 and throw for more than 50 yards .... on Michigan. Too bad UF had no defense in 2007!!

Actually, Gaterz, I consider you a very smart guy with good insight, solid knowledge of the game, and a logical mind. Same with MCG. The reason both of you get so much pushback from so many people is your abrasive style. I'm sure you are a good guy as is MCG, and I can assure you that referring to the two of you as the Bobsey Twins is done with humorous sarcasm, not with malice. If you don't appreciate my humor you are part of a very large group, including members of my own family.

That surely was helpful to your Cap One efforts! As Woody was so fond of saying, "The only statistic that counts is the one on the scoreboard."

You guys are cutting me to the bone......hurt me again after we win 6 of 7 from the boys in blue. Hell, as a matter of fact, I think you guys have lost to M more this decade than we have!

I would have liked to see the Gators do that in the weather and field conditions that Ohio State and Michigan played that day.

Okay .... as long as you don't mind being characterized as one of the 3 stooges .... along with Stu and buckeyeT? Obviously, they don't!

Point taken. Guess I'll just leave the "performance comparison" to the 2007 LSU games .... and of course the head-to-head in Jan 2007.

Nothing like good, timely and relevant data to provide the foundation of a solid argument....what is your argument any way? :?

Hey, if defending my team against repeated snide remarks is grounds for calling me names, go for it.
