I was optimistic that Tuttle would bring competency to our offense but clearly that idea was wrong. Purdue put over 40 points on Illinois defense last week and we had to scratch and claw to score 1 touchdown. I think we made a mistake hiring Brian Ferentz as our offensive coordinator…

UGA 10 - 0. Good punt return set them up, Longhorn defense did a good job forcing the FG

Ewers throws a pick and Georgia scores in a couple of plays.

17-0. Right now it's looking like a Georgia blowout.

I guess one measure of defining Georgia as an elite team is that their QB is having a terrible game yet they’re beating the #1 team on the road 20-0. Georgia is physically mauling Texas so far.

23-0 at the half. If this was a fight, it'd be a TKO.

Finally! Longhorns take the 2nd half ko and with help of a couple of penalties get the TD and the 2 point conversion!

    23-8

    LSU is handling Arkansas.

Gators are also winning vs Kentucky. Maybe Donavan can save his job

I don't think I have ever seen a call like that changed.

    Longhorns have come alive.

I have not either. Texas got off the canvas and we have a ballgame.

Refs missed a clear targeting on the 3rd down play.

There have been a couple of weird calls and non-calls. They only changed the PI call after fans pelted the field with water bottles. Then they reviewed a Georgia touchdown that everyone in the booth including the supposed rules expert said was a score and the refs on the field said not only was it not a TD but it was about 2 feet short. Bad officiating

If the issue of targeting is safety, then why is it ok for the ball carrier to lower his head and hit the tackler with the crown of his helmet. Isn’t it just as dangerous for the running back as it is for the tackler.

Surprised that Texas did not take more shots downfield with Georgia's secondary being shorthanded.

His dad hired Saban early in Nick’s career and it looks like his son shares Saban’s philosophy of maintaining standards no matter what the score is.

    I know it’s the NFL and not the NCAA but;
Eagles' Saquon Barkley fined for lowering his helmet vs. Browns

As I look back on the first half of this football season, I am not feeling good about Alabama’s prospects. Our defense is inconsistent and very vulnerable to the run. Our offense is inconsistent and our running game is suspect. I don’t think this team has a cohesive idea of what they want to be. Our only consistent top performer is a 17 year old wide receiver. In reality, our reputation has been based on the first half of the Georgia game. Other than that we have not played very well. Hopefully DeBoer can figure out how to right the ship but again I’m not optimistic.
