Well Sam Ehlinger just bailed Gundy out, terrible decision to throw the ball I could have picked that one off! Great effort by the Texas defense and punter all for naught. Texas offense was a no show.

Miami had a tough time putting away Syracuse, but that was the only close game I think of the top games.

Penn State had thier way with UM
    Irish same with USC
    Bama stomps Tenn
TCU stomps KU ...as well they should
LSU gets another Solid win over Ole Miss
    Va.Tech Stomps UNC
    Wisconsin continues to roll.
Auburn has a another big win.

Where would OU be without Baker Mayfield, he's a one man team.

Well....in the past month, many Michigan internet faithful have transformed from Jimmy worshipers to Harbaugh derangement syndrome maniacs. Idiots.

Michigan right now is suffering from the impact of sub standard recruiting classes in Hoke's last year and Harbaugh's first year when he was hired near the end of the recruiting season. We will be better in 2018 and much better in 2019. But, we definitely have large obstacles in the future. Urban is the death star recruiter in the B10 and his teams seems to have come close to reaching an Alabama like state where they effortlessly replace great players leaving the program with young great talent. Franklin is doing a great job at PSU and MSU's play this year seems to signify that last year's performance was an aberration rather than proof of a program in decline.

The big future questions for us are whether our frosh QB McCaffery or our highly rated RSF QB Peters will quickly develop into quality QBs; whether Harbaugh will do what Meyer and Kelly did last year and replace a few deadwood coaches; and whether we can start playing with physicality. Iowa manhandled us last year with lesser talent as did MSU this year and PSU's defense took it to us last night.

You guys lost a lot of talent from last year, and as you said Hoke's class was thin on talent his last year. Inspite of that your DCoord has put out a excellent defense and I don't think Harbaugh has forgotten how to coach.

It no doubt really hurt to lose Wilson Speight in the Purdue game, there was a reason John O'Korn lost his job at Houston, he's not a great QB, barely a good QB.

I'd agree though about Ohio State and Urban Meyer, he has talent just waiting for an opportunity to play and he's relentless in recruiting as evidenced by their ranking this year at #1 in recruiting with 3 5* players. The rich get richer.

Spreight had not played well since he was injured last year playing Iowa. Not sure he would have made a difference in the MSU game and definitely would have not make a difference against PSU.

O'Korn is more suited for a spread offense team where his running and scambling abilities are better suited. Not a good fit in a pro style offense. Bails out from the pocket too quickly, small so passes get tipped too much, and unreliable on deep pass plays. Chad Morris would have been a better back up but he transferred to Central Michigan for his final season and is playing well there.

But, O'Korn did show a lot of courage last night and was one of the few bright spots on a dismal night.

Looking forward to the OSU- PSU game. The Buckeyes usually roll over the Nits in Columbus but while PSU overall talent is not close to Buckeye level, they are solid and they do have several superlative talents that give them a legitimate shot to win in Columbus.

    Bobda,

I see we are listed as a 7 point favorite, I suppose due to the game being played here in Columbus. That seems to be a little too much in my humble opinion.

Should be a good game and I am glad this one is here at home. They certainly looked good against Michigan in Happy Valley.
