I do pull for the other SEC teams for the most part, but two were so overrated to start the season it defies reason. When Auburn was losing, we were all pulling for JSU... and then when Fat Brett went down, we had a party. Didn't really get to watch much... we were sight-seeing around the campus most of the day. It looks to me like no conference is dominant... there are good teams sprinkled around but we'll have to wait a while longer to see the cream start to rise...
Yes, Auburn and Arkansas are apparently not as good as predicted. Tennessee lost to another good team. LSU and MSU...we shall see. Ole Miss scored a lot on a team they were supposed to score a lot on and I'm telling y'all again, Alabama has big question marks, not only at qb but we are still not putting enough pressure on the qb. We should not be #2 in the country.
8) re: Arkansas Their coach spent all week complaining about Ohio State's soft schedule, then lost to another Ohio team: Toledo. re: BYU They're NOT running the table. This Saturday they play UCLA at the Rose Bowl... re: Auburn The entire world was cheering for Jacksonville State... re: Michigan Looked good. That's the Harbaugh we saw so much of here in California...
Re JSU Shades of Bob Davie vs. Neb. You get the ball in decent field position in the closing minute of the game. You have two choices try to move down field and kick a game winning FG or the wrong one, take a knee and believe you'll beat the better team in OT. It didn't work for Boob and it didn't work for JSU either. Of course the coaches avoid the criticism that they should have taken it into OT.
