The Huskers’ head coach’s contract now runs through Dec. 31, 2026. One of the key developments of the new contract is the buyout section. The buyout for Frost will now be $5 million through 2024. That buyout price drops to $2.5 million for the final two years of Frost’s contract.

ScoFro ain't going anywhere folks. He's one of the last ties to the golden years that is an active coach. We will suffer through this with him as we did with Dr. Tom's inability to beat OU the first half of his career, and the 7 consecutive bowl game defeats. We will support him as long as we know he's trying. Last Saturday he wasn't trying. Better knock that **** off yesterday coach.

Yikes, the Huskers clearly didn't think the guy was going to fake it, they had to have had the return on and nobody even thinking that it would even be possible that the Illini would fake it. I wonder if the kicker just saw all the black shirts turn and run and figured...hmm..ok I guess I should run they all have their backs to me, or was it a called fake?

I like how the punter stops twice(!) during the run. Looks like at his first stop he was still trying to work though the decision of run or punt. The second stop seemed to be a decision of which direction to run.

Bobda is right. That is the fault of the special team's coach. Even if you have a return on, you're supposed to hit, look and release. You NEVER just turn your back and run away. That was the first thing I learned when I was the punter on the Damien H.S. freshman team over 56 years ago. My coach told me, "If you ever look up and see that the other team is running away from you and the first down is less than 10 yards away, just run past the first down and go out-of-bounds." That's exactly what the Illinois punter did. Scott Frost needs to correct that immediately.

AJ, I hear what you're saying and that is not an exorbitant buyout.
