Maryland 21-0 over Penn State. The Buckeyes biggest threats in the crazy B10 East are Ind, Maryland, and Rutgers:p

Terry, Bo was an assistant coach for Woody and Moeller was a captain for Ohio. So no issues hiring Buckeyes. Hell...I think the mood of the fan base is so dark that they would welcome Tressel with open arms.

Just like that, Trask throws a pick six, Georgia goes back on top 21 - 14

Brutal targeting on Pitts, UGA player likely doesn't know where he is right now. Pitts was down for a while won't be surprised if he is in the concussion protocol.

    Gators score right afterwards. 28 - 21..

Gators appear to have the measure of the Georgia defense, if Georgia can't get going on offense again it could be a big win for UF

Georgia is done, they don't have the offense to keep up with Florida. They don't have the defense either. This could get ugly for Smart and Georgia.

Ball game, Gators pick off Mathis and have the ball in the red zone.

Congrats Bill! I am sure this was a sweet win for you!

There was football yesterday in other places besides South Bend

    Big 12:
Oklahoma State and Iowa State both are 1 loss teams. Texas, KState and OU are 2 loss teams. Texas has both KState and Iowa State left to play so they can eliminate both of them. If OU wins out, Texas wins out and Oklahoma State wins out except for a loss to OU in the final reg season game, then OU/OSU will be in the game as Texas, OU, and OkState all 2 loss teams they both hold the head/head over Texas. Texas needs somebody to give OU a 3rd loss.

SEC: Clearly the class of the conference is Alabama, but the Gators and Texas A&M are close behind. Aggies can run the table but not likely to get to the SEC Champ game. Gators should run the table as well and face Alabama. That Gator offense will give the Tide a run for it.

Big 10: Ohio State is the clear leader But what a start to the season. Indiana, Northwestern both sitting at 3-0, but don't forget Wisconsin, they have been sidelined by the virus. Purdue also undefeated. If it weren't for Justin Fields I think people would be talking about the IU QB as the best in the league right now.

ACC: Irish and Clemson sitting in the pole positions for the ACC Championship game, with Miami right there with them. By beating Clemson the Irish are assured a tie breaker over Miami if they both finish with 1 loss, which I hope the Irish don't pickup that 1 loss now!!!!!

Pac 12 underway. USC escaped with the win in a scrambling finish to their game. Wazzu got the Nik Rolovich era off to a good start with a win over Oregon State, Oregon crushed Stanford and you can bet they will make a big move in the polls.

BYU, Cincinnati both had huge wins this weekend and will continue to be solidly ranked in the top 10.

I still can't believe Maryland went to Happy Valley and just waxed the Nit's. Taulia had an incredible game apparently. Is Maryland legit?

I also can believe IU just throttled Michigan. I don't know what is going on with the Wolverines, they really looked great against Minn, who had an experience QB returning which is always a good sign. But 13 yards rushing for UM? Maybe IU is legit, they have come up big when they had to starting with the win vs Penn State.

Kyle Trask's 1st half performance against UGA put him squarely in the Heisman race. He really missed not having their TE in the 2nd half, but he's one of the top 5 QB's in college, right their with Jones, Lawrence, and Fields.

Scott's Aggies had another great game v So. Carolina. If Kellen Mond keeps playing this way they will run the table and be in the conversation for the CFP.

Apparently so. Their first-game waxing by Northwestern so far appears to be an anomaly, perhaps because it was Tua's first game. Now that he's comfortable, it looks like Maryland is a contender in the B10.

    Consensus seems to be..
    1. Alabama
    2. Ohio State
    3. Notre Dame
    4. Clemson.
    5. Texas A&M
    6. Florida

Then a lot of love for BYU and Cincinnati and I expect Oregon will jump a bunch of teams into the top 10. I won't be shocked if Georgia falls out of the top 10.

Coaches Poll is out and surprisingly the Irish are #2
    1. Alabama
    2. ND
    3. Ohio State
    4. Clemson
    5. Fla
    6. Texas A&M ...I guess head to head doesn't matter.
    7. Cincy
    8. BYU
    9. Miami
    10. Indiana

As I thought Georgia dropped out of the top 10, are now #11.

Alabama at #1, extending their NCAA record Streak of 13 straight years of at least one week at #1.
