    kp,
I would have to agree Kyle! Never underrate a good defensive team at crunch time!

Ohio State wins with Cardale at QB, but I had my doubts early on in the game. Our defense was stellar and that held us into the second half when the offense looked much better.

The play calling has not been kind to Cardale in my opinion.

J.T will be back next week and we will start rolling again.

Last night was the most complete game that Alabama has played all year. LSU's offensive line had no answer for the Alabama defense. In Fournette's defense, he never had any room to run and Henry had plenty of room. Mississippi State is next. Win and move on. :D

I watched most of the AL-LSU game. I was very impressed with both teams' defenses but most impressed with AL's will to win. As I like to say, AL refused to lose. LSU is a very good team, but it could not withstand AL's pounding running game. It truly was a battle of giants, 2015 version, with AL the victor.

    By the way, Leonard who?

Sid, apparently the Alabama defense was tired of hearing so much about Fournette. Almost all of the interviews after the game last night mentioned that. Derek Henry had a very good night.

    1. Congrats Kes! After a horrible start to the season, the Cougars really turned things around.

    2. Thanks AJ! If OSU beats MSU in Columbus (very likely) and Michigan can get by Indiana and Penn State, the game in Ann Arbor on the 28th will decide who is the B10 East champ.

Thanks bobda. The boys look to be developing a mental toughness that has been lacking for quite some time. In years past, the close loss to stanford would have lingered and the bad bounces against asu would have doomed them. They obviously have work to do, but the improvement and fight theyve developed is something for them to be proud of.

Did I miss something? How as that winning TD of Nebraska's allowed to stand? If that receiver was any further out of bounds he would have been a the concession stand.

One thing I've noticed is that in virtually every game I watch teams are pulling at least 1 flea flicker and they have a high % of success. It's almost like they are a staple of most offenses.

So many good games this weekend. Hardly know where to start.

UNC after that horrible opening loss, those guys are on a roll. Is Larry Fedora really that good of a coach?

Ga.Tech..unbelievable how their season has gone from high expectations to just limping to the end.

Navy, Jif's favorite whipping boy could be playing in a major bowl for the first time since Joe Bellino. They have a real shot at winning the AAC conference.

B12, don't look now but mayhem is happening. Most exciting conference race in the NCAA. They need an unbeaten champion, a couple of 1 loss teams leave them out of the playoffs again, most likely. Maybe OU could win out and get in since their loss was early in the season.

Irish, it gets down to Stanford, assuming of course that we take care of business vs WF and BC.

BTW is there a team of greater contrasts? BC? Another of JIf's whipping boys (or pussies as he likes to call them). Maybe the #1 defense in the country, and probably the #128 offense.

Mich State gets the miracle win vs UM and the miracle loss vs Neb. The Huskers can screw up Iowa's season to boot on the last weekend of the season as they host the Hawkeyes in Lincoln.

Ohio State ..basically it comes down to hosting a pissed off Mich State team and then going to Ann Arbor to face Harbaugh.

Alabama...I keep hearing that Clemson deserves it's #1 ranking, but that Alabama is the best team right now. So my question is, if the purpose of the committee is to give us the best four teams and rank them for seeding purposes. If Alabama is the best team, then undefeated or not Clemson shouldn't be ranked ahead of them, right?

Terry, as far as I'm concerned, I don't care whether Alabama is ranked as long as they are in the final 4.

    re: Harbaugh

The game between the Buckeyes and the Harbaugh Wolverines should be a Pier 9 brawl. He made every game with USC seem like a small war when he was at Stanford and this should be crazier by a magnitude of 9...
