All Buckeyes 1st quarter, all Virginia Tech 2nd quarter. I hope Meyer brings in Barrett for the second half.
Braxton Miller was the difference this evening in the second half. Tickled pink with the win. When Brewer went down with that injury, the Hokies were never quite the same. At least it was not a season-ending injury. Still surprised Cardale was named the starting QB.
  OSU simply overpowered them. There's nothing quite like Cardale in all of college football. This was a good start for the Buckeyes.
Good for Braxton Miller, he's a talented athlete. Naturally when a guy changes positions there is a possibility that his athleticism won't fit at that position. Clearly Miller is now poised to have a great final season, he's been through a lot and stayed the course, has his degree and ready to make the most of the opportunity. Buckeyes look very powerful, even if they did have a little 2nd qtr lull. As George say's..smooth sailing till MSU. BTW MSU/Oregon will tell us a lot about this years MSU team.
You can relax for the next 2 1/2 months. Then for another month and a half. There is nobody on the schedule that should be within 14 points with the possible exception of MSU.
Kinda sucks how the Buckeyes have taken the suspense out of the season. Really.... no one else I saw over the weekend has any shot at these guys.... Except there's always the prospect of Saban in a revenge grudge match against his arch nemesis Meyer. Damn... that sound so juicy I'm gonna root for that to happen.... Rollllll Tide!
Well it's funny how things work out. I know the Buckeyes will be favored in all of their games, and they definitely look deep and talented. But you know things happen, teams sometimes don't show up motivated and you do get upsets. That 2013 Alabama team was much like this years Ohio State team, loaded, yet they played several very close games during the season and got beat by Auburn in the final. So I won't be totally surprised if things are all 30 point wins. As far as Cardale Jones goes, he's so impressive for a man his size. Now he doesn't have the same speed at Barrett or Miller but still when he heads up field he's a load. In the Tebow years one of the things that made the Gators so tough was that Tebow was such a powerful runner that short yardage was not much of a problem for the Gators and neither was goal line offense. Rush 3 and drop 8 didn't work against Tebow and neither will it work against the Buckeyes and the Buckeyes with Miller in the role of Percy Harvin are just going to be tough to stop.
Report came out in Saturday's game... Dobbs, the Tennessee QB , is an Aerospace Engineering Major. He has never missed a day of school from Kindergarten to present day. He has never scored lower than a A- on any test or assignment. Amazing!
Also, we have a past on field star mentoring the Tennessee QBs. Condredge Holloway, a.k.a. the artful Dodger, a.k.a. Peanut (to Bill Battle) is on the sidelines once again. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9MLjPHqr9CE" frameborder="0"></iframe>
