Sounds like a future AD, following in his father's footsteps. Perhaps he's unofficially the AD in waiting?

Not sure about Brohm or DeBoer being on this list....yet. Lanning is too high. Not a bad WAG though.

This sucks. The Vos should remind him of his performance vs Ohio State.

I hate that holdouts due to "contract negotiations" might become part of college football.

On3 tweet: "NEW: Tennessee & Nico Iamaleava are in active contract negotiations ahead of the 2025 season. It is unclear if the negotiations will impact whether he enters the spring transfer portal."

Subsequent tweet from Thamel - "Sources: Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava did not attend Tennessee spring practice today. He’s been in conversations with Tennessee about a new contract. The no-show of practice came as a surprise."

Apparently that's what the Vols are doing. He's done at Tenn. SEC rules prohibit transfers in the spring and immediate eligibility. So he is not going to another SEC team and personally I wouldn't want him on any of my teams

I agree wholeheartedly. I’m just surprised someone had the guts to do it. Let’s see who picks him up and does he hold out on them. I don’t want him at Alabama.

I see that the Buckeyes didn't get just one ring for being National Champions, they got 3!!!

There used to be a rule limiting the value of rings,I know when my nephew Matt got his National Champions ring the max value was $400.

I imagine that is no longer true. :D

The rings were given out today at the Spring intra Squad game and they are huge. They will end up in a drawer someplace. I have no idea as to the cost.

I watched the first half of the Ohio State Spring game. Sayin had a very good showing, strong arm and appears to be in charge. About 40,000 in attendance. I liked our depth in the running backs. Scarlet squad defeats Gray team 50-31. Appears Sayin will be the starting QB barring any injuries this fall.

Now it seems they are blaming the agent, but Nico didn’t go to practice. If he didn’t know what the agent was doing, why wasn’t he at practice?

Everything I'm reading is that Nico doesn't have an agent, it's his father who is guiding him.

And there lies the problem. It's always the father. Well, almost always.

Yep, Cam Newton used that excuse and got away with it.
