Well.... I guess the silver lining is that the late, great Charlie did not have to suffer watching the Iowa game.

Rooting for the Huskers to land Scott Frost.

    TOK,

I think that is the third SEC coach this year who was fired after losing to Missouri.

    I'm torn on Fat Brett.
On the one hand I'll miss the Aggies having a guaranteed win no matter how the game starts.
On the other hand... I won't miss that SOB's chop-blocking, fat mo-fo offensive line.

I keep reading that Gus will leave Auburn for Arkansas.

Makes no sense to me, but what do I know.

    Bobda does Iowa = Missouri?

    Scott,

You're welcome. At least we beat Navy, I would have been unhinged had we not done that. We better beat Stanford too. I know they are tough to beat out there at their place, but the Irish have always made their living playing anywhere so I excuses about places that are tough to play wear real thin with me.

    George,

Thanks, I think you're probably right. He has a good poker face though, so he never lets on.

    Terry,

The Gus Bus is an Arkansas guy. I do know if he left Auburn, it would cause total recruiting chaos here in Alabama. They're loading up in this class.

    Ralph,

Don't worry, Dabo's arrogant ass will try to run around you and you'll smother him. Where I am concerned for you is that they are smart enough to stack the box and commit their LBs to taking the run away. Your QB is going to have to beat someone besides the Notre Dame defensive backfield who decided to impersonate the "Make-A-Wish" foundation a few times this year.

    Bill,

Since it appears Chip Kelly is out, how do you feel about Brian Kelly? :p

    Bobda,

    1. Well remembered.
    2. The real problem is that there's 4 coaching vacancies in the SEC and none of them will be filled by a guy named Saban... but everyone is chasing the next big thing.

I tell ya what, this Wilcox kid coaching at Cal has a great defensive mind and has Cal looking competent. If someone doesn't steal him now, he'll become ingrained in the Pac12 mindset and there will be no grabbing him.

I was a little surprised that Wisconsin hired him as their DC after he was fired at USC but did not know at the time that he had been Boise's DC and had done a great job there. Wisky fans were sorry to see him leave after one year to go to Cal although Jim Leonard has done a sensational job there as his replacement.

Cal has been an enigma to me. There were times in the past where they seemed close to becoming a PAC 12 power in both football and basketball but always crashed before getting a foot on the summit.

Ah Tom Herman you beautiful mind!
Keep throwing that ball with 2 minutes to go and the lead!

Guess he didn't watch A&M vs UCLA... except we did it for an entire half.

Comments from our QB after the loss to Pitt and the reality that Richt pulled him at one point...

Let's hope the young man gets in dialed in against Clemson.

Hey Scott don't worry I agree about B12 refs and targeting... Tori Hunter Jr was brutally targeted in the ND game last year no foul.

I couldn't believe how we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory... AGAIN!

Kevin Sumlin and the Aggies go out with a whimper.

I'm being assured that we have a deal with Jimbo Fisher (not sure how I feel about that) but of course nothing can be said yet.

One thing is for sure... if the Big Money Boys who leaked the firing info don't come up with a big name hire... they have just etched their names in the "Dumbasses of the Century" award.

Well it looks like there is more than just the 250K fine by the SEC coming Auburn's way for the storming of the field by it's fans. The field and hedges took quite a beating.
