The Aggies added Shemar Stewart to the haul. Pretty sure Perkins is going to dance with Brian Kelly.
Waiting to see what Jacoby Matthews does...

A&M added a 5 star DE from South Florida, Shemar Stuart. If these guys play up to their rating, the Aggies are going to be very stout on the DL

Longhorns had a nice day. Strong OL.

The Longhorns had already put together an excellent offensive line class heading into Wednesday, with tackle Kelvin Banks (the No. 32 recruit overall), Neto Umeozulu (No. 53) and Cameron Williams (No. 283).

The staff added to that haul with five-star offensive lineman Devon Campbell. He chose Texas over Oklahoma and gives the coaches four ESPN 300 offensive line commits.

Campbell is the No. 9 prospect overall and could make an impact early on for the Longhorns.

Jimbo let it all hang out. Mentioned Saban by name, ND VP Lou Nanni obliquely, and Kiffin except he never actually said his name.

    He was pretty worked up.

What amess college football has become! So Kelly's "Batman" dance failed to entice the young man to LSU. Not all bad news.... The dance was noticed and Kelly has landed a gig at the Blue Oyster in Baton Rouge during the pending 30 day slow period.

I'm embarrassed that I ever wanted Kelly as HC at ND. Not that he wasn't better than the 2 that came before him but that he couldn't take the program to the next step and as we have seen NEVER really embraced Notre Dame. I should have seen it coming.

Notre Dame is off to a big start in 2023 recruiting.

See why Tim loves your coach.

    Bill,

He's definitely tuned in to the new recruiting. That's, as Kirby Smart said, you have to have the players first.

But he'll have to show that he can back it up on the field.

I have hopes that he can, but time will tell!

The Vols boosters/alums are openly touting their recrutiing NIL/War Chest.

From an article on The Athletic.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — In just more than seven months since being introduced to college sports, name, image and likeness has morphed into a recruiting superweapon.

And in the never-ending arms race of college football, those who outfit themselves best are bound to prosper.

“If you would have asked us four to five months ago, we might have said we want to try and raise $3 (million), $4 (million), $5 million annually. Now, the goal is $25 million annually. Or more. And we think that goal is absolutely attainable,” said Hunter Baddour, president and co-founder of Spyre Sports, a Tennessee-centric college sports collective. “We’ll have to work hard, which we will. If this is how the game is played, then game on.”

    Thanks for the update Bill!

A recent report that 2023's No. 1 recruit Arch Manning is down to two schools is not true, his father Cooper told 247Sports on Wednesday.

In fact, because of regime changes at a few SEC schools, you can add two more programs to the mix for the five-star quarterback: Florida and nearby LSU.

I hope this kid is able to live up to all of this hype. It's a lot of pressure for a teenager.
