There are a few more guys who will sign today and Friday which is the end of early signing period.
ESPN says there are a number of players are going to sign but they have requested the schools not announce their signing so that they can make their announcement at one of the High School All Star games.

This whole portal, transfer and NIL
Stuff is ruining the only real sport I like. Just like the one and done ruined my passion for college basketball.
I know the “your getting old and things change“ probably applies to me but it’s just sad.

Actually I doubt many fans disagree with you Tim.
Trouble is the courts imposed this on the sport and there's really no way to put the genie back in the bottle.

Indication of the gap between the elite recruiting schools and the next level which includes ND.

Now Remember the Irish had a top 10 class, so it was rated very highly... but look at the divide

Notre Dame signed one top-100 prospect on Wednesday. Texas A&M signed 14. Alabama signed 13. Georgia signed 11. Ohio State signed seven.

The Aggies added 5 star WR Evan Stewart this evening.

Former Longhorn QB starter for most of the year, Casey Thompson, has entered the Portal. Not a big surprise with Quin Ewers coming on board you had to figure somebody was going to leave. I now wonder what Hudson Card who himself was highly recruited and the #2 Dual Threat QB in the class of 2020 is going to do. I would imagine that he will go through Spring at least and he's got a leg up on Ewers given he's been a year in the Sark System. But if he loses the starting job to Ewers I can't imagine he won't hit the Portal after Spring Drills.

Not sure what thread had stuff about who was jumping to NFL and who was returning...

Anyhow leading tackler Ronnie Hickman is electing to return to Ohio State and QB Aiden O'Connell is returning to Purdue.

Miles Frazier an OT from FIU, one of the top OL's in the portal chose LSU over FSU and Ohio State said this... Now I have to say that a whole lot of ND fans want Brian Kelly to fail at LSU and take joy in everything that doesn't work well for him... wouldn't like this and would laugh at the naivete of Mr. Frazier.

Coach Kelly is building an empire in Baton Rouge, and I’m excited to be a part of it,” Frazier said. “He will develop LSU to become the best we can be, and I can’t wait to get to work to help him build that. I am confident that he will change everything ASAP.”

I certainly want him to fail. :D

Good luck with that empire kid, there are more than a few schools that are going to do their best to make that not happen.

Reading about the highly ranked players who are unsigned and are favoring the Aggies it's possible according to ESPN that A&M will ink 3 of the top 4 players. Amazing class

What's crazy is... all our guys who report on it say: "You know in aggregate you won't get all the kids you want, but when you look at them individually, can't see one that is likely going to go somewhere else."
This truly is one of those "stars fully aligned" classes for A&M.
    And it is so balanced.

On the NIL front a HS Jr, Jaden Rashada, has inked big NIL deal. Hasn't committed to any school yet and is the #1 rated Dual Threat QB in the 2023 class. That's Arch Mannings Class and 247 has him as the #5 QB and Arch as the #1 QB. They don't do the dual vs pro in their rankings. bit ESPN does and he is #1 in the dual threat category amd #26 in the ESPN 300.

I wonder what Arch Manning will be worth when he decides to sign a NIL deal?

HS junior QB signs four-figure endorsement deal

I was hoping the high schools could stay out of that.

Alabama just got a great RB out of the portal. Jahmyr Gibbs from Ga. Tech.
I expect he will do very well for the Tide.

Jack Miller, Ohio State QB, transfers to Florida. He was a 4 star Qb from Arizona. In the same class as CJ Stroud, so not likely to play a lot.
Gators lost Emory Jones to the Portal.

Jones was initially an Ohio State recruit. He is playing in the Gators bowl game. Hasn't said where he is headed.

The transfer portal is changing the game by leaps and bounds! No coach is safe and I think it will only grow worse down the pike.:(
