Looking at these 2 teams, I imagine the Buckeye DCoord is drooling at getting a shot at either of them
Miami scores a TD and there is hardly any time left...the guy who fumbled earlier and allowed the Ag's to kick the FG to tie it scores on the jet sweep.
Bob wins "closest to the pin" today. I wasn't hunting, but was out on the property reparing some feeders so I can hog hunt over the holiday. I really am retired from football... I read what you guys have to say here, and a few reports from time to time but I don't watch any. I was hoping the Aggies would put on a good show, but alas it was not to be. There's always next year. I'm way more into the Ladies volleyball. Been watching them for the last couple months... wow that is a fun game, and it doesn't hurt that they are pretty darned good. And... not bad to look at either.
No doubt that ND and BYU would have given us better games. They need badly to ditch the Group of 5 guarantee and just go to the best 12, 14, or 16. Going to 16 of course won't eliminate the butt hurt of 17 and 18, but we could ditch the byes and go with 8 first round games at campus sites and Then 4 Bowl games, 2 Semi-finals and a College Super Bowl. Of course that's too simple, Conference Commissioners are going to demand increased guaranteed slots for their members. Which will bring back into play the possibility of a couple of teams in the top 16 being bumped out for an 7-5 Duke.
Agreed. Automatic bids will seldom get the best 12 or 16. Just rank the best 12. Tulane and JMU got embarrassed today.
They didn't belong, but they played their asses off in the 2nd half and out scored Oregon. That 99 yd drive forthe last score showed me their was no quit in those guys. Hats off to them. They gave all.
This is not a completely original thought but we had to watch JMU and Tulane play and lose in games where the were totally overmatched while Texas, Vanderbilt, BYU and ND were sitting at home. What kind of playoff system is this????
