College Football Playoffs

Congratulations on the win last night, first quarter did not look god but nice recovery there on out!

 

Surprised. Checked on the score once and OK was up 17-0. Guess I missed an historic gag job.

 

If you look at the stats you’d think Oklahoma won. This is a mirror image of our last game with them. This time Alabama won.
Alabama still has no running game but our defense was able to step up and we had no turnovers and Simpson got enough time to put together a pretty good passing attack. Lots of dropped balls though. Can’t have that and continue to win.

 

Nice comeback win for the Tide.

Indiana up next.

 

I guess we get to see if Tulane and JMU are as good as their records indicate.

 

I'm guessing we'll see 2 20 point or more wins by Oregon and Ole Miss.

 

Kind of a slow start to this game both teams struggling a bit on offense.

 

Ag's get the big play but Miami forces a FG and A&M apparently has a bad FG kicker problem, something I am familiar with at ND. So it's an empty red zone possession for the Aggies.

 

Miami gets the big play, Punt return, but can't finish and it's still 0-0

 

My guess is a safety is going to win this game. Kurt Ferentz must be loving this game.

What a match, neither team seems to be able to function?

 

Marcel Reed is elusive running the ball, but boy he's not having a good game with his accuracy throwing the ball, as Bobda noted, he's a classic Iowa QB.

 

I don’t know what’s up but the last 5 field goal attempts in the playoffs have been missed. The last 2 last night and the first 3 in the first game today.

 

Miami has come out with some fire, inside the 10yd line now ...can they get a score?

 

Ag's force the FG and finally somebody hit's one. 3-0 Miami.

 

Reed throws a pick and Miami back in the red zone, but Ag's hold and if you can believe it the Cane's miss another FG.

 

Scott must be busy watching??

 

He’s probably hunting with his pet wolf…at least I hope so. Reed is just awful today.
