That last play: Definitely pass interference but I think it wasn't called because the pass was out of bounds and appeared to be uncatchable. Just a guess.

 

The refs just wanted to get off of the field. The receiver was mugged.

Hoosiers looked crisp on that drive. The explanation by the ND transfer lineman of why he switched to Indy was interesting.

 

Coogan was a leader at ND, he gave a NSFW pep talk to the OL before every game. Problem was he wasn't going to be the starter this year, he did start a lot of games last year due to our injuries including he started the NC game vs Ohio State.

He transferred because he was not willing to sit on the bench his last year and I don't blame him in the NIL era. He got a nice deal at IU and was guaranteed to be the starter.

 

He was the MVP of the Rose Bowl playing for the #1 team in the nation. He should not be sitting on any team’s bench.
