Washington ain’t buying into the concept of bleeding the clock. Kurt Ferentz, if he is watching, must think W’s offensive coordinator is the anti Christ.
Terry, hope you did not go to bed after you typed that the game was over. This is a PAC 12 at Night game and a 6 point lead means s**t.
Damn, and I was telling Henry that he never tasted anything like a Texas pecan pie. The late, great Lloyd’s favorite desert.
The matchups this year in the semi finals has to be the most entertaining of all time. Maybe that is because Ohio State was not involved? I could be much more objective in viewing the games. Yes, there were some missed calls and that is part of the football mysteke, we are all humans and do make repeated mistakes, likewise for football officials. Difficult to swallow if one is on the losing side, but that's thats the way the cookie crumbles in real life anyway.
Nope went to bed Bobda, glad to hear the team had more faith in themselves than I did! Too bad they didn't pull it off.
I didn't watch all of the other game but I thought the Alabama/Michigan game was pretty well officiated. They missed the running into the kicker call but overall I thought they did a good job. It turned out that the call didn't really have an impact on the outcome of the game.
Sid, it shows the alleged talent level of each team based on it's composite recruiting classes for the last 5 years. Until this season, it has been a pretty consistent predictor of who will be around the champ games. I suspect the portal and the NIL $$$ that go along with it will make this a crap shoot from now on.

Sid, Scott’s post provides the answer. Scott, totally agree. pretty clear the portal is the wild card. I suspect teams with top 5 classes will likely be in the hunt for a championship but the portal provides less talented teams the opportunity to become elite. Washington hit the lottery with Penix. Obviously player development and coaching also play crucial roles.
In spite of the great season the Washington Huskies have had, pretty much everybody has written them off as having a chance to beat Michigan.
Washington has won 21 games in a row beating an excellent Oregon three times. Losing their best running back will hurt but they are good. Also recall M fans yapping how M was going to roll TCU in the playoffs last year. Rat poison kills.
Not surprising but a lot of ND posters while they were rooting for Alabama, they sort of took a perverse joy in the failure of Tommy Rees and his game plan/play calling in the loss.
Probably a double whammy for Rees. A whole lot of people want Alabama to lose every game. So if there were ND supporters were against, then he was really covered up. I think his biggest failure was not figuring out a way to protect Milroe, but overall I was satisfied with the job he did. We have a lot of room for improvement for next year.
The Alabama center entered the portal. What's the word around the Tide on this, kp? Has he had problems with his snaps all season as the announcers seem to indicate?
