Not only did Coach Primes Spring game MVP enter the Portal, but a bunch of his friends entered with him.

Fifteen Colorado players entered the transfer portal Monday as part of a post-spring practice exodus, as new coach Deion Sanders continues to reshape the Buffaloes' roster.

Just out of curiosity, Ohio State fans, who do you think was the better QB between Fields and Stroud?

A Texan fan wants to know. :D

Great question.... as college QB they were both elite, a first world problem to have to choose. My take is Justin is the superior athlete, CJ the better passer. NFL wise Justin has the higher ceiling, CJ the higher floor. As a GM, I'd be happy to have either, but to thrive they would necessitate different systems

Coach Prime is really churning the roster, in addition to 15 who entered after the Spring game, more had already entered earlier.

Thirteen Colorado players entered the portal last week, including starting cornerback Nikko Reed, defenders Simeon Harris and Na'im Rodman, and running back Jayle Stacks. Reed had 44 tackles last season.

Since April 15, the Buffaloes have had 31 players enter the portal.

"You all know that we're going to move on from some of the team members and we're going to reload and get some kids that we really identify with," Sanders said after Saturday's spring game. "This process is going to be quick, it's going to be fast, but we're going to get it done."

    And it will be painful.
There's a slight chance he catches enough good player to be decent (and they are in the PAC), but doesn't seem likely.

And I guess he only has 20 scholarship players left from last year's team, and this is after the spring game. That means that he will have to build this year's team in August. Hopefully the Colorado fans are patient.

My feelings about Stroud and Fields. Fields has played in a number of big games and to me is more ready to face the intensity of NFL defenses from his first game. Stroud on the other hand can raise his game with experience and preparation. His performance in the NC game this last season was the best I've seen since Deshaun Watson put Clemson on his shoulders. (Yeah Burrow is great too.) I wish the Lions could grab either one. More than one potentially successful QB has been ruined by impatient coaches (and GMs) and poor OLs. Both these guy could have great careers with smart teams.

Fields killed Michigan with his legs. With his long strides, he just gobbled up yards and turned broken plays into 20-30 yard gains. His passing skills combined with his running ability tore Don Brown’s pressure defense to shreds.

According to CBS Levis is getting a lot of love from some draft gurus. As always there are head fakes and surprises.

Levis is one of those guys who has a big arm, he's pretty mobile as well. Maybe this year's Josh Allen.

Move to the SEC dictated this swap.

Michigan and Texas switched the locations of their home-and-home series in 2024 and 2027. The Longhorns now travel to Ann Arbor in 2024. Michigan makes the return trip to Austin in 2027. The 2024 season marks Texas’ first in the SEC. The two programs have only met once previously. That came on Jan. 1, 2005 in the Rose Bowl, as the Longhorns pulled out a 38-37 victory.

That team will be horrible in 2023. Maybe this will work for him after that, but he's going to get his @ss handed to him this coming season, and that's against a weak sched...

Now hold on there Marine... you know I was referencing that powder-puff gauntlet known as the PAC.
I had not even glanced at the non-con sched.
I'm sure the Bugeaters will only help validate my "get his @ss handed to him" statement.

Well, Buchner is coming to Alabama. I'm not sure exactly what that means for our QB situation. I expect some portal announcements this afternoon. This will make 5 scholarship Qb's as of right now.
