Kansas State was in this one until they got out of their game plan. Going for it on fourth down from the 2. It was a 4 pt. game at the time. They didn't make it. Alabama scored a touchdown. Unsuccesful onside kick and Alabama scored a touchdown. That was it. I call it the Tiger Wood effect.
One good thing about being an old Michigan fan is that watching the Wolverines get waxed in the 70’s and 80’s in the Rose Bowl curbed me from over optimism for bowl games.
Bobda, I can remember many Rose Bowl games where Ohio State was upended by the likes of USC, Stanford, UCLA and Oregon during Woody's reign.
Michigan was 4-0 at the Rose Bowl prior to the Bo era. The overturning of the TD catch was an awful call but not running a sneak the next play was mind blowing. TCU woodshedded us in the 1st half.
JJ really can make those deep throws. Of course TCU just sending 3 guys he mostly has all day to set and throw. But another red zone failure. 21-9. TCU really needs to score 21 points isn't going to be enough.
Starting to feel a bit like the Ohio State game where UM just came out in the 2nd half and took control and ran away with the game.
Wow another pick 6 by TCU. Lets face it nobody thought a B12 defense could hold up. But TCU has had UM's number on the run game something Ohio State could not do.
TCU not going away without a fight, another great drive and it's 41-22. I doubt any Big 10 or Michigan fan thought TCU could put up 41 points. Amazing.
