Bills Gators finished the season with a thud, Oregon State beat them soundly 30-3. It had to hurt UF that their starter at QB opted out and the backup is in trouble with a child porn charge, that left a kid who had no real experience as their QB. I think Oregon State had a complete team.

A similar fate could well await the Irish.

The Bo Nix experience will continue for Oregon in 2023. What do you want to bet that Phil Knight and Oregon made him an NIL deal that made it more attractive for him to stay than test the NFL draft waters.

OK..a little off topic but if the B10 Network hired this guy, I would tune in to watch him call a NW v Rutgers game even if the telecast is in Spanish.

I saw that, Bobda. I agree. It's not often the viewer is drawn to the emotion of the announcer. I felt his emotion. I actually got a tad emotional, just a tad. ;) My daughter is a huge soccer fan, and Messi always has been her favorite player, so there is that.

A possible Christmas gift for any Buckeye fans in your family. 11 Warriors is featuring an “Undefeated Out of Conference” t-shirt with Ohio born William Tecumseh Sherman.

Apparently, Dieon Sanders has pulled the scholarship offers to at least 13 of the Colorado recruiting class. A move that is unprecedented I believe. Of course Dieon arrived telling the current team that their jobs are not secure. He's also raided the Jackson State roster.

I thought that the Texas/Washington game was going to be a really good game for the Longhorns. But that has been tempered by our best player on offense, Bijan Robinson, opting out and our best player on defense, DeMarvion Overshown, also opting out for the game.

One positive is that it will give senior backup RB, Roschon Johnson who has had a pretty good career as a backup one last chance to impress NFL scouts.

JT Daniels former 5 star QB from SoCal and vagabond since is now on to his 4th school. USC,Georgia, West Virginia and now the Rice Owls just across town from me. How the mighty have fallen. Rice hasn't had a big name QB since Tommy Kramer in the late 70's and before that we all remember King Hill and Frank Ryan in the late 50's.

Devin Leary the NC State QB has landed at Kentucky
Drew Pyne the ND QB has landed at Arizona State
Graham Mertz the Wisconsin QB has landed at Florida
    Grayson McCall ????
Sam Hartman rumored to be looking at the Portal
The Tulane QB, Pratt has said he's not leaving the Green Wave a big win for that program

Just saw that early signing period begins today.
It had totally gone under the radar for me.
Guess all this nonsense has really beaten down my enthusiasm for football.

R.I.P. Franco Harris at 72. Famous as Penn State RB and the receiver of the Immaculate Reception. Had great careers in college and with the Steelers. From where I sit at 78, he was too young.

Alabama right now has the #1 recruiting class with 6 5* athletes.

Georgia is #2 with only 2 5* athletes.

Longhorns finished strong @#3 and 4 5* athletes.

#4. Miami. surprise give how poorly their season went.

#5. Ohio State, only 1 5* they usually have more.

#6. LSU good start for Kelly, he lost a big recruit to Oregon today though.

#7 Oregon huge day for the Ducks flipping players from ND, LSU, Baylor.

#8 Oklahoma. Got the #1 rated QB.

#9. ND. really hurt by losing 3 players late. Still one of the better classes for the Irish in awhile.

    #10. Tenn.

Alabama signed 2 highly ranked qb's today. In today's climate, it's almost certain that at least one of them will not be on the team in 2 years.

A great gift idea would be a JT Daniels jersey which would be equal parts of the four teams he has played for. Kind of a knock off of the old Gaylord Perry baseball cap.

    A thud is being kind.

Our one achievement was kicking the field goal as time expired to preserve our streak of games without a shutout.

A lot of Gator fans on GatorCountry are extremely unhappy to say the least. Me, I feel we have the right coach and need to show some patience or we will stay in this down cycle even longer.
