Yeah Bennett is a good story. He was a 2 star coming out of HS and a preferred walkon as a freshman then a stop at a JC to get to actually play and then badk to Georgia but this time he was given a scholarship. I'm not sure if he's a QB who looks great because of the talent around him, or is he equal to the talent around him and not just a game manager at QB.

I think the Irish would have been 10-2 at least with him at QB this year. He's definitely a step up from our QB this year. If he were to go into the Portal, he'd start at Notre Dame next year.

But I think the Longhorns would have rather had Quin Ewers as the QB even though this was a learning experience for him this season and a lot is expected of him next season.

Fair enough. I would.take.him over just about every QB in the country right now. Game manager??? Maybe. I think it would be a mistake to not put him on any team. Actually, I think he needs to be in the discussion of the Heisman. Or maybe Brock Bowers

My only question about him is that he plays on such a talented team with a great OL and terrific WR's and RB's around him. If he were at Missouri would he look as good as he has at UGA. I think Bryce Young would still shine at Missouri even with less talent around him, he's just that good that he could put a bad team on his shoulders and make them a good team. Not a Nat'l Championship team but he'd make them better.

Backup LSU QB looked pretty good in that TD drive, was it a fluke or will he be able to put some points on the board?

Has the sneak been outlawed? First TCU in 2 critical plays opted not to sneak for 1/2 yard with a stout QB in Duggan and now LSU not only doesn't go for the sneak with a big QB but run from the Shotgun.

Up 48-23 and Georgia goes for 2? Kirby must have been offended by Kelly’s fake Southern accent at his introductory meeting with LSU students.

I missed that. Just turned on the game. In that case, goose-gander rule makes what G did fine.

Seedings for the playoffs will be interesting. I assume TCU and OSU are in. Does TCU get bumped down to 4 or does the committee put them at 3 to avoid a B10 v B10 semi similar to how they avoided a G-Ala semi last year.

This backup LSU QB has a heck of an arm.

Bobda it's a little know fact that Kriby Smart is a big fan of Woody Hayes. :D

It's a 1968 Woody Hayes original that's become part of Buckeye lore: when asked why he went for the two-point conversion instead of an extra point when Ohio State led Michigan 50-14 in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, Hayes reportedly said, “Because I couldn't go for 3”.

I don't agree, Terry, if LSU wants to run the ball and not throw bombs for the rest.of the game fine, but LSU is trying to score quickly and going for.2 so Georgia needs all the point they can get. LSU just threw for a TD. If it offends you that Georgia is putting up points late in the game then quit trying to come back.

Woody went for 2 twice against M to put 50 on us. He just did not like us very much.

Those who bet on Georgia giving 17 pts to LSU must be getting nervous especially since it looked like G was going to cover easy.
