Scott, I don't think that when the final results were up for the first week the 70% rule was applied, but were applied last week. Hey even with the glitches I like the College Fantasy league.
The rule was on, but I had it screwed up. I adjusted it Saturday night when I realized it wasn't set correctly. It's fun. It also makes me pay attention to games I probably wouldn't have before. On my way home from College Station Saturday night I was screaming at the radio for Stanford to throw the ball more so my QB could make up some ground for my team!! (thank goodness for Sirius... or that would have been a longer drive!)
Yeah... I figure I probably won't get much out of him. But you never know... he might break one. Duke is giving up a TON of points, so it's not a bad longshot...
Bonehead move cost me this week. But the Texas defense on the bench and played my backup defense, the Blackshirts of Neb. I lost by 3 to Kesley's Geek Tragedy, and I gave up 5 points by not playing the Longhorns!!
And I'm a FREAKIN' GENIUS! Ingram did Exactly what I was hoping for! Gotta tweak the line-up now... what do I do when my Florida Defense plays Ingram?!?!?!
I definitely need to stop watching games that I have a vested interest in. Thank you for the gift Terry!
Several people have up to three players starting that are on bye weeks. Why don't you do this when I'm playing against you? 8)
Hey Sid... You have two positions filled with bye week players. I should have waited until it was too late but that would be wrong.
Since I informed my opponent, I'll also say that there are two other members with three positions without ability to score points and one member other than Sid with two positions vacant.
Sid, just as with the Vols and the Gators, I want to beat you when you are at your best. If my notice to you means I lose the game, then so be it.
Bill, Truthfully, I had forgotten to check my CBS team until I read your post. I am in no less than 11 fantasy leagues - 3 baseball, 1 NASCAR, 3 pro football, 3 college pick'em, and CBS. You would think that being retired I would have plenty of time to track all of them. No problem with the time. Must be an overload problem with the brain. Thanks for your gesture of sportsmanship.
Vol vs Gator... Old guy vs almost old guy... Carolina vs Texas... Oh, I get it... All of us SEC guys look alike to you ND guys... That's it.
I don't know why I typed Bill's name. I knew in my mind I was addressing you. Guess it was too early on a Saturday morning for me to be mentally sharp.
