The ACC has declined the last few years no doubt. Not that long ago they were the premier BBall Conference B12 and SEC are now the top conferences
Given CSM's "We will foul the living shidt out of you" rant against his team following the loss to Kentucky and his explosion at assistant coach Ryan Anderson for rushing the court prematurely against NC State, I'd say he still has a little fire in his belly.
Interesting, but not surprising fact. In Women's CBB the 1st round is at the home court of each of the top 16 seeds. Big advantage no doubt. But this year at least so far, none of the top 16 has lost at home, so far something like 25-0. They do the home court so they can get attendance, but it's such a huge advantage that I believe they are going to change it starting next year as they feel the women's game has gotten to the point where they will draw good crowds at neutral sites
Virginia became the 1st team to beat a host team on their home court. It took double OT but they outlasted the Hawkeyes 83-75. They are the lowest seed to make the Sweet 16 at a 10 seed.
