I did not watch the game, but from reading there was a player shoving match on the Longhorn bench, I haven't seen exactly what caused it but after that the team collapsed and blew a 19 point lead at home. The team got off to a good start this year but it seems to be all coming apart at the seams now. I wonder if Shaka will be back next year.

Difficult loss for any team when ahead by that much, but things happen.

Happened to watch much of the Illinois @ Minnesota game. Minnesota is a decent team, but Illinois shredded them. I see why they're highly ranked. A very solid team.

Michigan leads at the half 45-43. Very tight game but Michigan is beating us at our own game. Tremendous shooting by the Wolverines. Dickenson is almost unstoppable in the paint. Very few fouls being called either way.

Wolverines prevail in second half in a very tight game 92-87. I think we can play with almost anyone at this juncture other than Gonzaga!

Howard is recruiting like it's Kentucky or Duke. While it's not a given that a guy like Howard who was a great college player and had a long NBA career can translate that to success as a coach, right now it looks like he might be that guy.

Michigan State whips Illinois this evening in East Lansing. MSU looked like teams of old tonight. We may have our hands full Thursday night in East Lansisng as well.

Amazing the officials can’t see on a frozen frame that the shot clock still on 1 second and the ball clearly out of the shooter’s hand and launched. WTF are they looking at?

3 Blind mice! Ohio State leads at the half 38-33. Buckeyes lose to Spartans 71-67. Coach Holtmann livid tonight after two technical fouls. We led most of the way but faltered at the very end.

Think the B10 refs decided that MSU finally rounding into something and wanted to help out Izzo?

The officiating was not so much one side Terry, as just so inconsistent for both teams. At times I thought the game might get out of control, but cooler heads prevailed. Izzo was upset as well but no technical fouls for him.

Never seen Holtmann so hot. Never even saw him yell at a ref in anger before. And twice this game! But realistically, we put ourselves in a bad spot where we needed a call on Washington's final drive to the bucket. Shoulda gotten it but should not have put ourselves in that situation. Still getting beaten off the dribble too much. How can guys so fluid and quick on offense not be able to play defense one on one??? That and lack of height is what will bite us against the premier teams. MSU has really stepped up their game the last week. They played pretty darn well.

Sparty seems to be channeling their inner Bill Laimbeer to try and make the tournament. Illinois star player got a broken nose on this ‘basketball’ play.
